This brings me back when our choir used to march around for collection singing this hymn. My aunt used to be the soprano. I grew up loving attending service. I miss the marching into service.

Introduced by the famous radio voice of Elmer, the late local Detroit, MI Chef, this song became a hit and was indeed emblematic of the annual "O Give Thanks" concerts at Ford Auditorium. Loman Ginyard I'm from New Orleans and had no idea how many preachers and Musicians were Detroit. Pastor Nicks is one person I wish I could've meet him. He passed when I was 3 but I love his playing. He's definitely missed!
