i think we saw last year in the second round OKC's youth be their detriment. they clearly were nervous and couldn't hit 3s for the life of them. hopefully this year they play a lot better (especially with caruso as a vet) but they are still a super young team and if they don't make it to the finals i don't think we could call this season a failure. more experience is needed for everyone on their roster.

OKC lost that series because PJ Washington couldn't miss from the corners. He shot uncharacteristically well, and OKC still were one foul away from forcing a game 7 at home. Also Caruso would've added to their chances to win the series because Giddey became unplayable and Caruso would've done better on both sides of the floor

I think also one of the reasons why people think this team is Championship or Bust is because of the old OKC big 3 of KD, Russ and Harden making the finals in a loaded west as youngsters and not even reaching their primes at the time.
