You do nice work. Your lucky to be on a excavator every day. Did that for a lot of years part time for a friend .Plus the lowboy .I loved being around all the eqt and opt every chance i got .Full time 43 years in tractor trailer .Wish that was me on that machine.
Hey Chris what junkyard is this I'm in central Nc and if that place isn't too far I want to see if I can buy that d6 for its weight in scrap and bring it back to life
I am just in awe how skilled you are with that machine. I always wanted to run heavy equipment but where I am from if you have no experience you are SOL.
alot of parts damaged but to be fair the owner should have got his happy ass down there and moved that shit so you can do your job and fix his fuckup good work man you should take that cat home with ya
Hey Chris, great video, I operate an excavator myself since '06, you are smooth, yet I have to question your standard safety issue of leaving your bucket head-height off the ground while exiting your machine...if on a job site...I'd skid you for doing that...I know that you are working alone, yet with your skill set, I would expect grounding the bucket to be an automatic safety procedure.
But... Chris IS working alone. In watching Chris work, I've come to believe that, to him, motion = time +fuel. All of his motions seem to be planned and performed to optimize the time/fuel calculation. The machine's motion was stopped exactly where needed for the next move. His phone stayed exactly where he needed it. He exited and entered the cab in the most efficient manner. Chris's economy of motion seems a result of years of practiced planning that pays of for his business in productivity, allows him to concentrate on results over annoyance, keeps his customers happy and likely cuts way down on his aggravation level.
Looks like a late fifties, early sixties unit. Hydraulic blade is nice. If there's any life left in the undercarriage then it'd be worth a look to fix up. Probably get cut up when/if steel prices go up.
Hey Chris, do you have to clear out all of the junk cars? I don't know about other folks, but you could make your posts at least twice as long. It's interesting to watch you do your job and move the scrap cars. Have a good weekend.
Its a shame those were gonna get crushed, you could take all the windows outta the vans and all the good panels/parts etc and list em cheap online and probably make more than the scrap after all was said and done with shipping.
should have left it gear and see if it would bump start! That would have been quite the situation! Chris would have had to try and catch it the excavator or jump on it. You must have forgot to check it for snakes?
I love how effortless that big excavator makes moving those cars!
Good on you for taking the time to minimise damage to that old tractor. 👍
I love it when I see someone run it smooth, the machine is just an extension of your body. I was good at video games and learned very quickly.
The neutral position lock is right between the A/C control panel and the stereo, on that particular D-6 Chris. ;-)
love watching you shuffle around the junk vehicles with the excavator
The amount of "damn I wish I could do what he does" in my blood is too damn high!! :P
69adrummer wait till the next video I got a little distructive
haha I'm about to send you my resume!
That is some crazy shit! I'm so tired of moving shit! Classic!

Ripcord your a good operator
Wonderful POV of a great operator like you!
That rake alone would be nice if the dozer never runs again to put on a working dozer.
I've ran a skid for last 5 yrs, but I finally got a couple tries at running a excavator, I gotta say you're smooth running that thing
Second one!!!!! Looking good Chris would hate to have to move all those cars and junk there that would have to really suck!!!!!
Hey Chris what junkyard is this I'm in central Nc and if that place isn't too far I want to see if I can buy that d6 for its weight in scrap and bring it back to life
Well at least the tracks are loose after Chris has moved it a little bit ;-)
Daniel Bargas nice
I would also like to have that dozer, try and revive. :-)
Looks like a private collection. He probably doesn't know the owner.
That's one skilled operator! Strong work!
The power of these machines is always impressive to watch. Enjoyed your video.
I love your videos and watch them daily. You and your guys do quality work brother .
Nice work bud. Reminds me of being a kid in the sand box. You make it look easy.
Subscribed. You are very good at what you do. Seems like tons of fun!
Once again missing sleep for letsdig18 lol, have fun
Oh and congrats on 100K Subscriber’s I really like your videos
Great job. You scratched that white truck though. 😆
I am just in awe how skilled you are with that machine. I always wanted to run heavy equipment but where I am from if you have no experience you are SOL.
Moving and Smashing those cars with that Excavator would be the dream job! 😁
I can tell you have spent a "few" hours on this machine, great job!
What size is that Excavator?? I cant believe it moved that old D6 like it was a toy!!! There's some power in that boom!
Looked like a D6-9U, I got one sitting in a garage that my father ran back in the late 70s.
damn your a surgeon with that excavator! love the vids
Dang, you are good. It is such a joy to watch you work. Thank you so much for sharing.
Hey, be easy on those Fords, you know they are built tough!🤣
Wow Chris, this was an awesome and action packed video, Thanks keep them coming!!!
Cool chris you get also the schrottautos platt pressed
This is the 1st video that I saw and have been subscribed ever since!
you are fun to watch.
seems so easy when an expert is working
keep it up
The messes of others that you have to clean up. And I’m just really getting into what you’ve had to do. WOW
This looks a junkyard of cars Chris and even a bulldozer wow, very nice again Letsdig !
You are rediculously good at this
you got some awesome skills right there. very entertaining
Really like the point of view of the camera. It's like we're sitting there with you, pretty neat.
What happened to the roof glass? !
Love your films, keep em coming :D
Someone needs to save the old Cat ! Nice video
Sweet little dozer.
Man you Super Badd
Keep doing your Thang,You make it look soooo simple...
Awesome video, the camera makes it look like the boom is reaching out 100 ft..
Cars: Fuck em. Volvo smash!!
D6: Protect at all costs. Be gentle.
Operator logic, and I totally agree with it. Lol
"let me just push these toy cars around..." :D
that's some dame good work ,keep it up man.
Finally found that car door I've been looking for. Couldn't get you stopped in time.
Never leave bucket in the air leaving machine. Yes they have had lock but don't trust them. Things happen too quick.
such an insane operator dream of being as good as you.
What factors do you use to determine how much to charge per hour?
great camera angle awsome vid
i've been doing paint & body for 25+ years. 5 minutes of man-handling vehicles with that excavator would be some much deserved payback!
Take it and rebuild it and use it in your fleet the dozer
Nice video. Such finesse.
alot of parts damaged but to be fair the owner should have got his happy ass down there and moved that shit so you can do your job and fix his fuckup good work man you should take that cat home with ya
Bro that looks fun
Is the cab bigger in the E models?
Admit it....you were having a little fun with this!

well it's like they say, old machines are still the best machines...lol but great video Chris same as usual.
Chris is a hard worker, look at him go!
Great video Chris.
rust free parts like that Dakota bed he destroyed are worth a fortune here in the rust belt
That old dozer is probably the only thing there that could be made to run again.
Nice!!
thats fun watching from the inside of the excavater
From your point of view, it's a computer game for kids.
Good work!

man I want a Volvo like that, and a mess to clean up.
Man I would love to have a job like this!
Side business.....Chris ‘ Valet Parking!
Its a shame those were gonna get crushed, you could take all the windows outta the vans and all the good panels/parts etc and list em cheap online and probably make more than the scrap after all was said and done with shipping.
What size excavator are you using
Precision pickin'!
You should’ve called Charlie, he would get that D6 going again. Then he’d work it daily.
good operator
Your one good operator
should have left it gear and see if it would bump start! That would have been quite the situation! Chris would have had to try and catch it the excavator or jump on it. You must have forgot to check it for snakes?
Next time I come to South Carolina I'm going to look you up hang out with you a few days Have been on heavy equipment all my life
Nothing like having fun!
You are one smooooth operator but did you have to use that 92-97 white ford bed for a junk box ...i needed that for my truck lol
after that thumb grabs them, they will need a little body work haha
Smash the cars....nice and gentle with the D6 😂
great operator
in a lot of your videos you knock down some wicked big trees and when i see the trees i see that they would make for some good building timbers
I like this video of digging
Damn, you took a bunch of junk and turned it into trash but you did it in a professional manner!
....13
How did they get away dumping all that fill in the first place?
Visions of Goldfinger
D6 Rescue ? WHOLE TRACTOR OR JUNK PARTS ?? Dang it ...
lots of good parts going to waste
Boot 185 ikr
At an iron dealer this bulldozer is worth $200 a ton
But it would cost 200 bucks a ton to get it cut up and hauled to the scrapyard.
When you gonna grow that beer gut all the other excavator pilots seem to have?
I would like to buy the d6
Zero fucks given haha
Did you actually get paid for that?? I looks to fun.
Dont you have any rototilts on your machines? its much faster
Another old Cat for Charlie to rebuild?
bert26a that’s what I was thinking too.
I'll take that old bulldozer. Some either would fire right up.
