Testing Heater Section of Car Oxygen Sensor

  • With multimeter we can only test the heater part of car oxygen sensors. It should be between 4 and 16 ohm depending of models and purpose of using it in deferent car engines. In this video I tried to show how identify the heater wires and measuring its resistance.

    How to check o2 sensor one cable?

      If you mean only two wire , then it does not have heater. You need to measure its voltage on the car with engine running using back probe wire at the connector.

    Hi sir max ohm for o2 sensor read at multimeter is what sir?... my o2 sensor read at multimeter is 18.3ohm is that good? Or not good?

      With ohm meter you can only test the heater of the sensor. It is vary depending on types of engine. But i think that number is within the range.
