The day this video came out I swam a 1:08.14 in the 100 yard breast. Stroke count:8,10,10,11. I’m gonna use this to gage my progress over the rest of my highschool season.

As the analysed race seems to be yards, we‘re talking about est. 1:05 at the 100m short course, right? Which is pretty damn fast, don‘t get me wrong - I certainly don’t race that fast and the very helpful clues on strategy and training still apply, I‘d guess. Just to have a reference for all us metric systen European folks 🙂

Sorry, in yards - I looked up the event Fares swam and it was "100 Breaststroke SCY Men 30-34 (2023)" 😊
In US short course (25) is usually yards and long course is 50 meters.
Which smartwatch do you have? Ive seen most watches have 5atm and thats aparently not enough for swimming. You should have 10. what do you recomend?
I use the Apple Watch Ultra! All recent Apple watch models are waterproof

Great instruction - but as presentations go - please slow down with your speaking. More pauses. Allow time to process what you are saying!

You’ll finish the race in under 10 hours I believe in you
Its very easy just do it between fast and slow and swim and think about technique the whole time and the last 100 go faster and the last 50m sprint, I'm btw swimming 1500 breaststroke this weekend at the national championship😅
