I love the change in your clothes now that you are back in the east. The color palette you are showing is totally different than when you were in the West ❤️😊
I love accessories! I have a beautiful collection of scarves that I have collected over the years. Unfortunately I live in Florida now and little opportunity to wear them. I have a collection of pins too, some of them were my mother's from the forties and some from the eighties when they were popular. I find that accessories don't take up a lot of room, when they go out of style, keep them, they will come back . I had my ears pierced in the early 60s so have many earrings that have gone in and out of style. Keep them all they wiil come back. I have an elephant belt from the 70s that always gets comments. Buy quality and keep forever. You may be tired of it today, but thrilled with it tomorrow.
I have 9 out of 10! I worked in the Jewelers Building in Boston in my early 20s. I was able to get watches, brooches, statement rings, and earrings that are now vintage. I then worked for a 100 yr old hat company in Boston that still designed and blocked hats. We also sold beautiful silk scarves. I've decluttered a lot because of the age of the items. I don't need frames yet😊
I have all 10 of these. I too would choose earrings if I was only allowed one accessory per day. I've been collecting silk scarves and pearl jewelry for the past 4 years and love wearing them. Great video Nancy.
I'm wearing my mother's Swiss Army watch and have my sister's tank-style Seiko, too - I also have those dainty watches from the 50s with the tiny little faces and bracelet-type bands but they don't get worn. I have a lot of brooches as well as charm bracelets from my mother and sisters as well as classic gold and silver bangle bracelets that simply do not date and always look good in addition to plain gold earrings and pins with monograms. All nice things that need to keep being used and appreciated!
Someone complained that the brands are down market. There are obviously up market brands that offer classic watches, scarves, jewelry...but I appreciate that you highlight classically styled affordable pieces.
Hi Jane, I'm glad you appreciated the classic pieces and affordable price points! You might also enjoy my new Shopping Guide. You'll be able to find brands and stores for your style and I have them categorized by price point: shopping-on-champagne.ck.page/7f19d89fa7
I have all of these! One thing that I will definitely take out of the jewelry box and wear on a regular basis now is a stick pin that belonged to my grandfather. It will look super chic on a jacket lapel with my derby hat!
I never thought about the different ways you said to use a brooch. I have a lot of my mom’s costume jewelry. And I need to look through and see what all I could wear. I just took all of it because none of my sisters wanted it. I always wear earrings when I leave the house. My husband bought me diamond earrings for Christmas, I told him exactly what I wanted. And I wear them all the time. I have two holes in my ears but the upper ones are hard to get earrings in. I also wear glasses. I got new ones last year and I love them. I was doing dishes a few weeks ago and lost my diamond out of my engagement ring. My husband took it to have it replaced for me. It’s actually the second one to be replaced for me. I usually check the prongs to make sure they are tight. But evidently I hadn’t checked them lately. I found the first one that came with my original ring. But my husband had it put into a heart pendant. I’ve had the ring for forty six years. So I guess two in that long isn’t too bad. But I will be more careful with this next one.
I have oodles of different kinds of watches with all different kinds of bands. Timeless pieces are my Citizen watches (I feel there are no other timeless pieces such as this brand). I have a silver and a gold bangle Citizen watch for whenever and a nice leather band for daily wear. I've got other brands but I have always liked that brand the best. No batteries to fuss with. I have all ten accessories. I have my grandmother's watches, her rings and her pins and brooches which I love to wear. I love your videos, Nancy but I've never been to a garden party. Maybe my friends and I are not classy enough to attempt to throw one. 😂
I love accessories! The give an outfit a kick. Brooches are interesting and I can see that on a blazer or cardigan. My go to are handbags, watches,. Earrings and rings are my go to accessories. I have a few earrings and rings from my mother that I still wear. ❤❤❤.
I have old, antique brooches that I rarely wear anymore. But, I have several newer, modern silver pins that I wear 90% of the time, almost my trademark. That or pearls or some silver necklace. Thanks for all your tips.
I love your Lilly videos I love your shirt you are wearing I think its called Lesia Relaxed Button Down Shirt. Do you know what size you ordered and does it run big I am between a 12-14. I appreciate your response.
Love scarves and my favorites range from budget to luxe(although my wardrobe is limited-if I don't wear it-it goes). I always keep my eye out because you never know where you will find one. Do you have any ideas for warm weather accessories that won't wilt in the heat?
I have brooches, mostly antique ones, but never wear them because of my very casual lifestyle. Also, the only people I see wearing them around me are very elderly ladies. I'm trying to wear my pearl strands more too but, again, they always feel too dressy. I do wear a single pearl pendant, though.
Try pinning a brooch to a sturdy necklace as a pendant necklace, or wearing your pearls with a button down shirt, either on top of the shirt or peaking out from underneath, with casual pants or jeans…mixing fancy with casual is in nowadays. Make your own style😊
My mother always shorted out her watches too! She finally ended up wearing a pendant necklace that had a clock inside when you opened it. That was before cell phones.
I have a question the smart watches tells you everything almost went to go to the bathroom lol lol how many steps your heart beat blah blah blah are they classy? I jot I miss I have one, but I feel like I’m tied to it and I miss my just wearing a watch. Is it classy to wear smart watch or not?
Accessories can make the outfits looked chic and special. Thanks for your recommendation
My pleasure! Thanks so much for watching! What's your favorite accessory?
I love scarfs, too, espessialy on the winter and i have and wear many of them.
I think scarves are essential too.
They give you a polished and charming look.
Keep up your great tips please.
I love all your videos❤

Great advice, Carol! Thanks so much for sharing it! 😍
Fresh water pearls are amazing and less pricey.
Brooches? YES!

I love them all! I don't leave the house without earrings. I have inherited several broaches, and I have some nice costume pieces.
Have all 10! Friends will say dated, but I believe they are the finishing touch! Would love to own a silk Hermes someday!
I have all 10 too. And I really do depend on my watch to tell time.😊
Me too.

Thank you so much! What are your favorite places to get silk scarves?
@@shoppingonchampagne I've gotten a few on eBay, others at Talbots, and a few as gifts.

Your collar turned up looks GREAT! The 90s are over, so please continue popping it!

Thanks so much, Celia!

Thank you Nancy. Love this video.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it, Carla! 💕
Great video. I also have and wear all 10 items you mentioned.
Thanks, Karen! 💕
I have them all. Love this video! I have Hermes scarves that I have not been using and should be!
Thanks so much and put those Hermes scarves to good use! 😍
Love your blouse and sweater❤
Love your videos! You’re a class act.
Thanks, Jean! I really appreciate your kind words! 💕

Oh, I love that those silver pins have become your trademark! 💕
I have my grandmothers diamond watch from the 40 s
All of the items you mentioned Nancy, with the exeption of a hat. I hate hats and would only wear them on a beach for sun protection. Tschau Petra
Glasses??? Where did you get those frames? I consider my glasses an accessory as well.
Great video! Do you or anyone know where to get quality clip earrings? Most kill my earlobes and unfortunately I can’t tolerate pierced ears.
I enjoy you!!❤
Love your videos!
I love all these accessories! So glad brooches are back. I wonder if I can wear a necklace and brooch or is that too much?
I love your Lilly videos I love your shirt you are wearing I think its called Lesia Relaxed Button Down Shirt. Do you know what size you ordered and does it run big I am between a 12-14. I appreciate your response.

I probably have several of these but I’m a country girl so the only time I wear jewelry is when I go out! I wish I did though!😁
What about those very thin cashmere scarves. Yes or no?

@scara1859 great suggestions, thanks! 😊
I love brooches. Actually, I'm 10 for 10. Thanks for reminding me of all these things. I was getting boring.😎
LOL, it's time to dig them out and start wearing them- we don't want you getting boring! 🤩
I have all of these except the pink hair thingy.
I can’t wear watches - I short them out!!! (Seriously). I do have my mother’s sterling watch. ❤
OMG! 😆
My mother always shorted out her watches too! She finally ended up wearing a pendant necklace that had a clock inside when you opened it. That was before cell phones.

The brands you chose are down market. Not collectable or classic.
What are some of your favorite brands?
Tissot is pronounced with an oh sound at the end, not ott. Thanks for the video! 🩵
Sarah, Thank you so much for clarifying it for me! 🥰
