- Myself and Candice recently joined the National Trust and this was our first NT property we had visited since joining, saving us £32 on entry fees and parking! I have stopped at Ightham Mote before to look at the outside once whilst I was on a day walk a while back and always wanted to have a look round it. Now the opportunity presented itself ...

Awesome video, I worked on one of the restoration bouts in around 1996, before Time Team made their film. I was there for over a year relearning how to do real carpentry, it was an amazing expereince

a lovely video. There is a nice painting of Ightham Mote by Sir Winston Churchill, who was a regular visitor, hanging up in the drawing room next to the billiards room..
I had my first date with my now husband here, 18 years later and it only seems like yesterday we were there, lovely to have the virtual tour, looking forward to visiting again😊

I always thought the National Trust seemed expensive to join? You research these videos well. have you studied history?
not really, i just really like history lol plus tbh i plagiarise and read off of info boards and wikipedia! lol sometimes i try and reword!
