This Flated Air Carrier is super cool! I can't wait for the road trips to come using this rooftop car storage bin and in the meantime, it will be tucked away in its bag in my garage not taking up room as other storage containers would. So awesome!

Just got a 2021 4Runner Venture Edition. Can’t wait to start my build over on my channel. Right now I do camper van builds and wanted a 4x4 for some serious adventures!!
Edit: subbed
That's funny. I just bought an inflated tent. It works the same way. Might have to try this.
Super cool! Check it out
I like that it’s super easy to pack up and store vs. a hard shell, that’s one of my major dislikes about those hard shell ones. I’d assume someone wouldn’t want to put too many valuables in it given the ease of break-in.
Pros and cons I guess! Thanks for the review.
Ps. see a lot of comments busting your balls about “paid promos” etc., try not to worry about them man. They clearly don’t understand how the world works and that in order for us to get content, sometimes you gotta do what you have to do.
I appreciate it!! Yea definitely don’t wanna put your laptop or anything up in here. Just extra storage maybe for clothes dog food whatever.
Only makes sense if storage is an issue. Otherwise it is way less aerodynamic and extremely easy to break into compared to hard boxes.
side question, what brand is the roof carrier on your Forerunner? ty.
Is this the Medium? Can you fit an EZup inside?
Dang i might have to scoop one up as I’m always on road trips
Looks like they would create a lot of drag. And they cost almost as much as the hard boxes that are more aerodynamic and keep your stuff more secure
Again, huge hard shell in the garage or storage shed vs folded up in a bag. Depends on how you want to store it
"You're not constantly pumping and pumping to try and get it up" 😂😂 Appreciate your reviews! As another commented, could you possibly sleep in it?
I almost put the office that’s what she said at that spot ha
😂
I could use one of those for the t4r. Good lookin out👍
Thule, pronounced Toolee btw😉
Well who the heck made that word! Hahaha
Jon, hows the ride so far with the new wheels and tires? Are you planning to keep it stock height or add a lift in the future? Im still waiting on my RRW R7 to come in from the group buy. Im not sure if I want to do the Eibach spring 1 inch lift or just keep my PRO stock like yours. Any input would be great.
I wanna lift it up higher but it rides great at the moment
Are the sides lockable?
This is awesome! Any idea if it fits the stock TRD Pro roof basket?
Not sure. That one is unique
@@TRDJon appreciate the quick response
I'm going on about a 50 hour road trip in a month. I don't have space to store a big carrier when I get to my destinations and I'm one click away from buying Flated. Before I do is it going to handle that much driving? This product seems legit just want to get my money's worth. Thanks!
Yes it will! Link in my description too! Enjoy! Just make sure it is strapped down good for that much driving.
@@TRDJon Thank you and will do!
How long do you think you can leave it on car before it needs another pump?
SHould be a good while!
Heck, if this was a little longer, I'd consider sleeping in it LOL. An inflatable roof top tent!
They have a larger size 👍🏼
Do it!
🤔
What I was thinking lol
Looks like you can only use their proprietary pump system (either manual or electronic). It would be great to use any ordinary pump to inflate it
Well the manual comes free with it. It’s the same kinda nozzle a paddle board is too. They don’t fill up like a bike tire. It’s a lot more solid of a deal
Seal
Can you leave the carrier deflated on the car? So you don’t need to remove it from the roof.
I personally don’t see why you would do that I mean, if you’re just having a car parked e then
@@TRDJon i mean the bag deflated and mounted on the roof when not in use and still drive the car, and just inflated when you need it. So you don’t have the Mount/Demount every time you want to use it. Hope that makes sense
👍
I can appreciate the review, but yeah I don’t see these selling many units lol.
No worries! I appreciate you still watching!!
You a Flated Salesman now?
Just have 2 product to review. But yes if you'd like to buy some I'd be more than happy to sell you some. Their products are honestly super awesome.
I haven't been subscribed too long and haven't watched every video, but do you ever give anything a bad review? I understand you probably get products free to promote or whatever. But can you really say you give honest reviews if nothing is ever bad or not worth buying? Either you are very lucky and only get good things or are not completely honest in reviews if you don't post anything failing or a waste of money.
I answered this in another comment. I film those videos and give those companies the heads up the product was bad and they ask not to post. In the past it’s cheap Chinese crap so. It even worth it. In video I mention short comings. Just like I did in the other flated video talking about the zipper in the back how it over hangs and could scratch up your vehicle. So yes I mention flaws. Most people skip so much in videos that they miss stuff and then comment something asking a question on what they skipped over.
@@TRDJon I wasn't trying to bust balls. I do see you mention flaws or things that could be made different. It still ends up being something you would reccomend. Not posting videos of bad products isn't being completely honest. I understand you need to make money and get paid to post/not post videos. Whenever I watch a RUclipsr who only shows good things I take it with a grain of salt. In essence it's just a commercial.
No it’s no worries I just wanted to explain it incase somebody else read the comment too. It’s all good.
I mean I can post those videos if people want. But I just know I’ll get comments of (hey why are you posting this garbage) which may be good for some looking at the product. Even like the T-8 unit. It’s good for those looking for a cool head unit but even though that was free and I got paid, I still couldn’t 100% recommend it after my long term test without highlighting some of the issues it had.
The videos I don’t post are like sub $100 stuff that I just felt were cash grabs
I have to ask, are these sponsored videos? Between this and the last, I get a feeling they are sending you products...
That’s how a lot of products are. They are for review and honest opinions is how I structure my videos. I don’t get paid to make them if that’s what you’re asking.
If a product is crap, I won’t promote it for you all, if it’s good and I think you guys would like it, then I proceed with the videos. I’ve had plenty of things I’ve installed and they were utter crap and I couldn’t recommend them to my viewers, even if I was “hooked up” integrity is worth more then free stuff.
@@TRDJon Would you ever consider doing a video of those products that you didn't like? Having reviews of good stuff is always appreciated but knowing what to avoid can help just as much. Sometimes it can even be more helpful to know what not to waste your money on.
@@TRDJon I don't have a problem with product reviews. However, I don't recall you saying you're doing a review for a product you were given for free. "Another product to show you" is not a disclosure. This is essentially an ad. This is an FTC violation.
Not a paid advertisement which is what RUclips cares about. I care about getting as many quality products reviewed for my viewers as possible. Getting items like this helps out a ton since views are up and down and I don’t have many members for constant stream of income. Sorry this bothered you.
So you lied you didn’t hand pump it this is the first time your pumping it up 😂your language exposes you my dude
What?
