      @@ajg1791 Yes, flipping someone an L sign with the hand that's on the other side of the athlete where the guy couldn't possibly see it, with a motion that looked a lot more like a salute. An L sign involves putting your hand all the way to your forhead and taunting. His hand comes up for not even a second. Replay that part of the video and you can see it's impossible.

    I don't know any of the athletes, nor am I affiliated with any school, so have no personal interest in this matter. That said, if one of my athletes ever flipped the "loser" sign - it wasn't a "dab" - to a fellow competitor during a meet, not only would I disqualify that athlete but also suspend for at least one future event. If happens again, longer suspension. Again, off the team for good.

      @@ajg1791 Bull. Hicks is pretty friendly with other top college runners. I don't believe this for a second. You can see his arm is not in the right position to make an L. His palm is facing down, never goes above eye level, and his hand is on the side of his head as he looks over. There's no way he was taunting Kiprop. Kiprop couldn't have even seen it from where he was.

  • @isitrachelorj3953
    @isitrachelorj3953 Год назад +4

    Ya, so? Why would anyone celebrate winning a race with that time? 73 seconds off the American record! Americans need to stop running to win "local" meets and start training/racing to win international events. No more "sit and kick", running an "honest" race will prepare them for racing the africans. It's working for Ingerbritzen.

You can't ask your body to do incredible things if you haven't prepared it for the effort. Stop training to be League Champ, train to become World Champ - unless of course you're happy/content being League Champ.

    • @isitrachelorj3953
      @isitrachelorj3953 Год назад

      @@brunobiega same for that Brit and Kenyon! Train for the international events that matter. Who cares if you beat a bunch of American kids who will never make an Olympic or WC team, if the winning time doesn't qualify you for a prom date. I refer you to my other comment.
