  • Coleslaw is a side dish that's simple yet bursting with flavor. This version features a creamy dressing made from mayonnaise and sour cream, giving it a rich texture.This coleslaw is a perfect complement to grilled meats, sandwiches, or as a stand-alone salad.
    Ingredients: (4 people)
    - For the salad:
    - Quarter of a white cabbage, finely shredded
    - 1 large carrots, peeled and grated
    - 1 small red onion, grated
    - For the dressing:
    - 1/4 cup mayonnaise
    - 1/4 cup sour cream
    - 1 tablespoon white vinegar
    - 1/2 tablespoon sugar (or honey)
    - 1/4 teaspoon mustard powder
    - Salt to taste
    - Black pepper to taste
    Instructions:
    1. Prepare the Vegetables:
    - Finely shred the white cabbage. Grate the carrots and the red onion.
    - Place the shredded cabbage, carrots, and onion in a large mixing bowl.
    2. Add the Dressing and Mix
    - Add the mayonnaise, sour cream, white vinegar, sugar, mustard powder, salt, and black pepper to the bowl with the vegetables.
    - Toss everything together in the bowl until the vegetables are well coated.
    3. Chill and Serve:
    - Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld and the coleslaw to become perfectly chilled.
    - Give it a final toss before serving, and adjust seasoning if necessary.
