Good stuff. New sub here been RVing for a few years have a 1981 class b i think ford camper just rebuilt the 460 should be back on the road this summer. Going to flat tow my 2005 Ram 2500 behind it just cause.
What about wiring a plug to pull power off your trailer plug? You'd only need to turn on your parking lights and you could avoid 20' of wire and opening the hood. Or getting a cordless battery adapter to fit water brand of cordless drill you carry and make a plug to fit?
We had the same water bladder. Mike got chatting while filling it and it blew out. So keep your eye on it. Lol Loved the water pump. So handy Another good video. :)
I'm new to camping/campers. Really, I don't know much at all. Can you add fresh water tanks to your camper? I've been reading that a lot of the vintage fresh water tanks have or can crack. I haven't tested mine out yet. But this water bladder seems like a good idea if mine is cracked. Course I don't have a truck to put it in.
Yes, you can change out or add a freshwater tank to your vintage. Check out this video where we added a new freshwater tank to our vintage. ruclips.net/video/hBW0THPj0IA/видео.html The water bladder is also a good idea too. They come in a smaller size that will fit in the trunk of a car. Good luck and if you have other questions don't hesitate to ask. 😁
@@NomadicRamblersAdventures Thank you for the information and I'm happy the water bladder comes in a smaller size. You two are awesome. I hope I get the chance to run into you both one day!
Thank you, good luck with your water bladder. They really are a lifesaver especially when out boondocking. Happy Trails and I'm sure we will cross paths one day. 😁
I can fill the bladder with the pump at Springs and Rivers. I could also fill the bladder from City water where there’s pressure without the pump and the bladders last a year to year and a half and some of the ones people have been getting lately are leaking around the edges so we switched to the blue bladders from Amazon..
Nice job! Best one I've seen so far. Great idea with the box and storage on top. When you have the right tools, and a smart guy that knows how to do it, makes it even better. It's those safety tips that make all the difference.
I think that Miss Lilly is the home owner LOL 😂 well done Mr. Childers good job guys that's a really good idea I really like DIY videos thanks for sharing
I'll be! I did exactly the same kind of setup as you did but I have a solid plastic tank. I like the bladder idea, which is more versatile. We only have a little camper trailer with a 10 gallon hold g tank and I was getting tired of filling it with jugs of water. Guess campers think alike sometimes... Great video and I know it will benefit others. 👍👍
Thanks for the video content! Apologies for butting in, I would love your opinion. Have you heard about - Proutklarton Protecting Aqua Plan (do a google search)? It is a great one of a kind guide for getting prepared for a mega drought without the hard work. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my best friend Jordan got astronomical results with it.
Excellent Video clip! Excuse me for the intrusion, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you ever tried - Proutklarton Protecting Aqua Plan (do a google search)? It is a good one of a kind product for getting prepared for a mega drought minus the headache. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my mate after many years got astronomical success with it.
Very clever! I'm new to your channel, still working on previous video's. May I ask here where do you get your drinking/potable water from & how do you handle disposal of your blue boy/tank? PS: Love the Woo hoo's & yummy food inserts as well!
Thank you and welcome to our channel. We are at the Long Term Visitors Area in Quartzsite AZ. They have portable water here and dump stations. If we are somewhere else boondocking we get water at the Pilot truck stops and usually you can dump for a fee at state parks. 😁
@@NomadicRamblersAdventures Thank you so much for your reply. You have such a great sight and your Travel Trailer is beautiful. I am a new subscriber of your sight and I can't get enough of your videos. Safe travels to the two of you.
Love the trailer
Thank you 😊

My pump is powered from the 12V line in the 7-pin trailer connector.

Thank you sir. I forgot to put the link below. I'll do that now. 😁

Curious to know if you filled it with the pump and how did it do long term?

May I ask if you have a grey water tank or if it just flows onto the ground when boon docking? Thank you.
We do not have a grey tank. We use a blue boy. 😁
@@NomadicRamblersAdventures I am new at this, what is a blue boy?
@@dandydear6418 it's a portable external tank for waste water.
