  • Now that Twisted Cyclone is open and becoming a crowd-favorite at the park, Six Flags Over Georgia has focused more attention on a new construction project over by its hypercoaster, Goliath. This appears to be an indoor attraction (likely dining - if you are to trust the 2018 park map).
With daily operations for the 2018 season winding down, Coaster Addict Dwayne stopped by the park to see how much progress has been made and if there were any clues as to what exactly this is.
Could it be the world's largest BeaverTails location? Possibly a multi-purpose entertainment facility that also serves a variety of food options? Only time will tell!
If you have not already, be sure to look back at where this construction project began:

I’d definitely look around the abandoned kids train area as well. Something is definitely going on back there, as seen from the sky buckets.
Also, I went yesterday and one of the employees said it was a new haunt building.
Not to mention, splashwater Falls still hasn’t opened once this year, meaning it’s pretty much closed for good.

Dude I hope they do something back there in the old kids train area it needs help, been abandoned for years.Ive said for years in there surveys that they need to build back there it’s empty there’s nothing to do in the back of the park and definitely could use a face lift with new rides weather that’s flat rides or fingers crossed a winged coaster!

Hope it a winged coaster that goes from the old train kids area to Splash Waterfalls and back that whole back side the park looks old and outdated sitting next to the DC kids area and Sky buckets all looks old

A park employee told me it would be a new haunt building, so now I'm conflicted.

On their Instagram they said it was a new attraction. I don’t think it will be a restaurant because there is no plumbing in the foundation. I personally think it will be a “remake” of shake Rattle and Roll or something very similar.

Definitely gonna be for fright fest looks way too big for a restaurant and with fright fest coming in 2 months should definitely be finished by then, still wondering what’s coming in 2019? Is splash water falls open or is it still closed

Codeman 1115 many or the parks next big coaster thats a lot of space splashing water fall land heading out towards where dejavu use to be iOS s long stretch of land and parking lot and that part of the park can got up to 300 fee due to the elevation sit really low in the park back in 2006 they said there will be another coaster grazing the skyline in the future but didn't say when

Teejay Johnson that would be awesome if they could add another big coaster like Goliath, I feel like there next huge coaster is gonna be a rmc of great American scream machine that’s a lot of land and a lot of room for rmc to work with.people are saying it’s getting rough so it will need a rmc in the next 3-5 years so idk. We haven’t seen any construction on where a new attraction could go other then by Goliath but that’s for 2018 so idk

Codeman 1115 that but be nice but dont tho that's going to happen due to it's a historic landmark now smh we never get the good stuff recorded braking coaster or ride nothing never extreme everthing is basic need a launched coaster or winged or I'll even take a 4d but on a longer layout or even a really good flat ride all our flat rides suck
