Don't learn movesets, don't learn timing, don't come up with any more advanced strategies, just stand in place and do the thing until you win. Just spam the move someone somewhere told him was good, not bothering to find out how it works or when you should use it. First of all, you can’t stack Night Maiden’s Mist. If you cast one while another is active, the second cancels out the first. Secondly it deals flat damage (about 1500), which really isn’t useful this late in the game. Thirdly it can damage the caster. But no, just stand there and spam the very spell that causes damage to yourself.

Which is still stupid cause he used his sword earlier and has one equipped later. hes completely brainless INT is probably the cheesiest build in the franchise so far as far as stat investment to damage output 38 INT gets you all the night sorceries which NPC's cant dodge except the teleporting ghosts, Dark Moon Greatsword which poisebreaks everything in 2-3 heavy attacks, night mist which saps tons of health really fast and costs no FP but of course he doesn't know any of this because he followed his stupid dents telling him to use the Lusat/Azur staffs which are useless unless you're abusing the infinite magic physick, he doesn't use terra magicka before the comet azur cheese and doesn't use any of the magic and sorcery damage boosting spells.
Is he running a heavy weight build? why does he have so much trouble im like sub 100 level and i dont die as quickly. Also why is he so vulnerable lol, did he only upgrade int and vigor?
@@lorencalfe6446 Phil has very low vigor (even for a mage lmao) for most of this playthrough. But he's also using a marika/radagon scarseal that increases damage taken as a cost for giving stat boosts.
And using the noob staff which SUCKS mind juice for minimal benefit. And not power stancing the night staff and carian regal and spamming night comet instead while dodging the death beams
This is my first fromsoft game and I played as a magic build. Game was a blast and I have sense played with different specs. This dude sucks at magic. He sucks at most things, but elden ring is not his game.
