You've inspired me to get back into building models after about 25 years since we're in lock down. Quite a bit off your standard though, bloody brilliant!
I used to make many tamiya, fujimi 1/20 and 1/24 race car kit during high school, but now I’m too lazy, thanks for your channel so I can enjoy the process.
Not only amazing skills in the build, but also in the lighting, filming and editing, which must have also taken a considerable amount of time and patience.
Getting a lot of joy from your F1 builds! Tempted to get myself a kit for when my kids are older and I will actually have the time to attempt something as detailed as this.
Very very nice, a lot of hard went into this. Thirty some years ago I did several Nascar models. Painted the engines, detailed the interior etc. My son in law has them in clear display cases and they still look great today. Granted I didn't go to this much detail but those kits weren't as detailed as this one. Oh yes, back when I could see with my eyes. Great job young man.
do not be discouraged I get better everyday. Just remember it's supposed to be fun. I don't show many people my work and I am my biggest critic. When you do something well you will be very satisfied
Thanks man, really good video and many thanks for listing the aditional detail parts. Thanks to you I've purchased the goods to follow your steps! Senna's car is something I've always wanted to build. Please continue sharing the steps, it's really nice to learn like this!
Great work (as usual) with loads of extra details (as usual) - this is going to look stunning when it's done - as usual!. Great vid thanks for sharing.
You are UNREAL! I truly love your work. Full respect to your professionalism! I wish I can send you my unboxed Senna's McLaren MP4/7 to you! No kidding!
The amount of detail with the aftermarket parts makes so much a better model. Love the quality of the white and florescent orange on the body shell. Can I ask what Airbrush you use and at what pressure you spray at? Can't wait to see part two. Keep up the great work
Awesome build of my favourite car!!! I have the kit, but with my current skill, it's intimidating.... :) Hope to see the second part soon! I am learning many things through your videos.
That’s awesome Dan, this kit fits together horribly.. just a heads up if you do get one. I spent quite some time figuring out how to get the cowl to close with all the parts inside. Front suspension also requires modification to sit a bit lower
Your skill is absolutely awesome! I see many channels and different professionals. I also do modeling for formula 1 cars in 1/20 scale. But what you are doing it is something special ))
If I may humbly offer a tip for sharper tape lines. Once you have your base color areas taped off, shoot a light coat of the same base color to seal the edges. Then spray your contrasting color.
Are the Tamiya Lacquers any good for paint brushing? Looks like you didn't need to thin that gold colour for the hose joints. I would like to use the Tamiya Enamels but being in the U.K they are not sold here and getting them shipped over is massively expensive.
The lacquers are decent at brush painting, quite a bit better than acrylics. Have you tried eBay for the enamels? I regularly order from eBay shops in Taiwan or HK, they sell it about $3 per bottle, international shipping included. It just takes over a month or more to arrive.
Thanks! This one is actually still available on plazajapan.com. I like to browse local shops, forums or eBay to find older kits or stuff out of production
I did a test fit initially and everything fit together horribly so I googled the kit + fit issues and there were forum posts from other people who had similar issues. This kit is pretty famous for not fitting together well, lots of info out there and something I wish I knew before I bought it!
Haven’t had time due to my daughter being home with schools closed. Trying to get part 2 done this month hopefully, but it won’t be a completed build yet. Appreciate the feedback!
Mind blowing, the amount of detail you put into this... I would never have the patience or steady hands to do this! You've got my respect!
Thank you for making content that unites my car-loving hobby and such a therapeutic vibe into one. Love these.
This is probably my favorite pilot ever. Thanks for building this epic machine!
every little detail and sophistication is completed through your hands to create a perfect product , that's great !
And that's what I like. No music, no talking. Just silence, focus and calmness. Have my sub, sir!
I second your comment Mateusz. Brilliant. Lots of others could learn from Ziggy's Desk approach to a great vid. Steady hand.
Been waiting a Senna's car since I subscribed to your channel, and I knew you wouldn't disapoint me. Thanks for such beautiful builds, keep it up!
Thanks Franco, still more work to do, but I'll do my best. Appreciate the comment!
I agree, extraordinary work 🔥👍
The skill, dexterity and patience on show here are mind-blowing. Thanks for the amazing videos.
One of my favorite F1 cars of all time! Proper respect to Ayrton, very nice work he would have loved the finished product
You've inspired me to get back into building models after about 25 years since we're in lock down. Quite a bit off your standard though, bloody brilliant!
I'm Brazilian and Senna is my idol, you're doing a great job, I'm looking forward to seeing you finished👏
I used to make many tamiya, fujimi 1/20 and 1/24 race car kit during high school, but now I’m too lazy, thanks for your channel so I can enjoy the process.
I am in awe of the steadiness of mans hands. Incredible.
Quel travail formidable. Cette attention du détail.. Une patience de fou. Le résultat est incroyable. Hi from France.
Not only amazing skills in the build, but also in the lighting, filming and editing, which must have also taken a considerable amount of time and patience.
Everyone: this is insane level of quality and detail
RUclipsr: "I need more practice"
Of course he wants to practice more. If he’s not happy with his work, then let him practice and make one that satisfies himself.
Well, practicing is what got him that good in the first place. More practice ensures more improvements.
Extraordinary !!!🔥🔥🔥✔️
Great, that you don’t only show what materials you use, but also what you are doing with it
Getting a lot of joy from your F1 builds! Tempted to get myself a kit for when my kids are older and I will actually have the time to attempt something as detailed as this.
The detail is breathtaking. Amazing! Enjoyable for watching your video.

What a difference having a real wheel nut makes. Great work, cant wait for Part 2.
Great build and video. No daft music. Just you building in incredible detail. A legend of a car driven by a legend of a driver.. Now, where's part 2.
Your work is so detailed and wonderful! I'm on my second model ever and so far I've not been doing too good.
do not be discouraged I get better everyday. Just remember it's supposed to be fun. I don't show many people my work and I am my biggest critic. When you do something well you will be very satisfied
One of the most wonderful cars ever to race F1. Really nice paint job, that Marlboro orangeish red is quite hard to pull, but it looked spot on.
Thanks Carlos!
Aside from the fabulous work, these are beautifully filmed and edited. Well done. Looking forward to the completed model!!👍👍
Glad to see Gravity paints being used...the best finish paints on the market.
Thanks man, really good video and many thanks for listing the aditional detail parts. Thanks to you I've purchased the goods to follow your steps! Senna's car is something I've always wanted to build. Please continue sharing the steps, it's really nice to learn like this!
Coming out great. The details are amazing. Can't wait for part 2.
WOW, it's so real. Especially, I like your surface processing. I'd like to watch the next. Thank you !!
This car is an icon!
Simply wonderful!! I'm amazed for the level of detail, including the brakes and calipers!!! Keep it up!!
What a fantastic and detailed video. The attention to detail is breath taking! I loved watching every single second. Well done! :)
The amount of detail is amazing. Those metal brake parts look insanely difficult to get right.
Looking forward to the second part.
Great stuff. Delicate details, the final rendering is fantastic. I loved the airbox !
Great work (as usual) with loads of extra details (as usual) - this is going to look stunning when it's done - as usual!. Great vid thanks for sharing.
Very good! I have the 1:12 mp4/6 that I've just commenced building.
I'm working on the tamiya mp4/7 right now. I watched your video and you gave me the solution for masking the body. Thanks!!
I was looking forward to it. It ’s a very careful work and it ’s wonderful. I'm really looking forward to the next video!
Thanks my friend, maybe one day I can learn how to do a perfect clear coat like you 👌🏻
Thank you! Let's continue to enjoy making models!
The work you put into this is astounding. I love your videos and editing quality, so keep doing what you're doing!

You are UNREAL! I truly love your work.
Full respect to your professionalism!
I wish I can send you my unboxed Senna's McLaren MP4/7 to you! No kidding!
You put in so much detail that is almost gets offensive because I know I won't ever be as good as you at these things
such an epic car, and the Marlboro livery is one of the best, so far so good, waiting for part 2
i've been waiting
bit of surprised cus you picked Senna's MP4-12
Thisbisbawesome! keep it up!
Great looking build!!
Your work is amazing!! So cool your doing Senna's car, one of the best ever drivers for sure! Love it, and you have the cutest dog on the planet!!:)
Carol Ann Thank you! 😊
Very stunning. Can’t wait to see the rest of the build.
WOW! A master at work , love it .
The amount of detail with the aftermarket parts makes so much a better model. Love the quality of the white and florescent orange on the body shell. Can I ask what Airbrush you use and at what pressure you spray at?
Can't wait to see part two.
Keep up the great work
Thanks man, I use a gsi creos ps-289 for most of the body painting besides primer. pressure is around 14-18psi depending on the paint
Amazing detail. Great looking build
Awesome build of my favourite car!!! I have the kit, but with my current skill, it's intimidating.... :)
Hope to see the second part soon! I am learning many things through your videos.
Staggeringly good work. Waaaaay above my pay grade. Those brakes look fantastic. Thanks for the video.

Great video Chris, I like the cinematic elements and the ASMR sound effects of your videos. I look forward to seeing more of this build. -James

Thanks James!
Beautiful Work!!
So much love for the details, simply great
Beautiful work as usual mate !
-Alex
I have the Tamiya with all the resin and PE goods. I'll have to get this one too. Thanks for sharing this great build.
That’s awesome Dan, this kit fits together horribly.. just a heads up if you do get one. I spent quite some time figuring out how to get the cowl to close with all the parts inside. Front suspension also requires modification to sit a bit lower
@@ZiggysDeskGood to know. Thanks for the tips.
Amazing video my friend, great tips and awesome skills to build
I'd have the patience, but surely I have no all the instruments to do these awesome works! And of course the skills!
Stunning work
Great paint job
How many skills!!!
Applause!!
Your skill is absolutely awesome! I see many channels and different professionals. I also do modeling for formula 1 cars in 1/20 scale. But what you are doing it is something special ))
Are you going to do something in 1/12?
Thank you so much David! I think the goal is to eventually do a super detailed 1/12, not quite there yet in terms of skill, but some day 👍🏻
A master at work
Yay finally another video great one too as always
You know it's gonna be good when he pulls out the putty in frame 4 😅 excellent job, can't wait for the rest
If I may humbly offer a tip for sharper tape lines. Once you have your base color areas taped off, shoot a light coat of the same base color to seal the edges. Then spray your contrasting color.
Chris Weatherly thanks Chris! Didn’t know that but I’ll try it next time 👍🏻
Your videos are like a therapy. Guys can you suggest me hobby channel name like Ziggy's?

You're next level! Loving the videos; where on earth are you finding these awesome kits? I thought some of them weren't even made anymore.
Thanks! This one is actually still available on plazajapan.com. I like to browse local shops, forums or eBay to find older kits or stuff out of production
We would like to see the tools kit you have or workshop tour
Beautiful !!💙💙💙
Excelente, me gustaría tener ese modelo, fue el auto con el que Senna fue campeón del mundo?
good job! on the highest level👏👏
Cant wait for 2nd part
This is great stuff! Very inspiring and motivational to watch. Now I'm off to the hobby bench to work on a project. :)
Anyone know more channels that do this? I need more of this in my life.
Always perfect!! You are the best, thanks for your videos!!
When is Part 2 coming, stunning work!
Thanks James, soon! working on it right now
Nice work, bro.
Nice kit very nice kit
How did you know about the fit issue with the body and engine before hand?
Very impressive detail, you are extremely patient.
I did a test fit initially and everything fit together horribly so I googled the kit + fit issues and there were forum posts from other people who had similar issues. This kit is pretty famous for not fitting together well, lots of info out there and something I wish I knew before I bought it!
@@ZiggysDesk
How is the Tamiya version?
Tamiya’s usually fit together well, but I’m not sure if they have this car in 1/20, I’ve only seen the mp4/6 in 1/12 for tamiya
If i was to do this but a bit scaled down/ less detailed what would I need and how much would it cost, paint glue air brush etc..
Very, Very Nice Build!!!!!
Awesome, as always!
Interested in finding out which drill bit set that you are using.
Hey Russell I put a link in the video description to the tools used
@@ZiggysDesk Thank You!!!
Ayrton Senna do Brasil
