The level of detail you create on the model is stunning, absolutely amazing! Also the filming, lighting and editing are flawless, you deserve a lot more subscribers. And a big thanks for not putting any annoying music in the video, please never change that.
To quote the late Tom Petty, “the waiting is the hardest part.” I thought you’d be done in Part 2. Silly me! Hurry up with Part 3 please! Great car (and driver), great kit, great build...so far 😊
No se si entendes español... pero no quería dejar de decirte q tus videos son sencillamente expectaculares. Ademas, sin musica, producen un efecto de inmersión en el armado nunca antes visto en ningún otro usuario de youtube. Te felicito realmente!!!
finally the second part this kind of videos are the most relaxing, and it's really nice to see a simple piece of plastic (or metal, idk) turning a beautiful car in the end congratulations for the video 👍🏻🇧🇷
Makes a change watching a video without music. It encourages me to look more closely at the work being done. You make the Carbon Fibre decalling look so easy. Love the finish on the exhaust pipes. Looking forward to the next video of this build.
building parts of the car that no one will see anyway your self is called being a master of detail. Well done this model is absolutely fantastic new sub
It's incredible how you go the extra mile to make these as perfect as possible! Can't wait to see the finished product, and keep up the great work Ziggy! One can dream, but hopefully one day we get to see the 1998 McLaren here on the channel. Along with this one and 2007-2008 they're my favorite McLarens ever!
I’ve just started this kit..and got the cockpit detail set too. I can’t believe how minuscule everything is!!! Hats off to you my friend...I’ll never do it justice like you have.
Thanks for sharing your build of this iconic car. The level of detail is amazing and your skills are off this planet. So relaxing and enjoyable with no background noise.
This guy should be an eye surgeon. If I were working in that detail my hands would be shaking worse than Gene Wilder's in Blazing Saddles. Boss decal would end up floating around my eyeball. Amazing work. 👍
Hey Ziggy, my friend as always your skills are sky high and sharp. Awesome and excellent job done on the cockpit and on the exterior. Looking forward for part 3. Thanks for sharing, take care and keep up the great work.
I have the Top Studio complete detail kit, carbon decals, Marlboro decals and the paint. It's been sitting there for a year as I get closer to bringing it out to the bench. The carbon decaling you did was informative. I know it's going to be quite a thing to do, and it's nice to see another kind of paving the way. It's looking very nice indeed Sir.
Hey Robert, For the mp4/4 right? I remember from your last comment. That top studio detail set is insane with the detail they put into the engine, it looks like a 1/12 scale. Let me know how it goes, I want to get to a 4/4 eventually.
This is SO fake. He’s clearly got hold of a real McLaren MP4/6, then used a giant to make it look like he’s making a fantastically accurate and incredibly detailed scale model.
Classic car that all collectionist must have in theirs shelves. Please don't stop making F1 cars. I would really like a video of you making a B186, B188, B190 (or any Benetton car) or those Minardi, Lotus, and small teams but uniques. Thanks!
You beat me to it, you built it first, thats ok looks like a good build. I will have to locate this model to go with the rest of my 1/20 senna kits. I still must build the 1/12 kit. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to more of your great builds.
Lol It's been so long since part 1, I thought I missed this. After watching the video, I can see why it took so long. Incredible attention to detail, amazing work.
Thanks for doing these videos... phenomenal stuff, love it. Went and got this kit and the (taboo) decals (plus the brake detail kit) after part 1... will need the cockpit detail up set and the S27 CF decals now. LOL!! SO worth the wait!!
Awesome! Be sure to test fit all the parts first, and also google on how to lower the front ride height (cutting suspension arms) there’s lots of tinkering to get this kit to fit together well.
@@ZiggysDesk Thanks for the heads-up Mr. Ziggy... I've gotten better about test-fitting parts, but as a new builder it's always nice to get tips and hints. Thanks again for the videos and really appreciate the cues and advice you throw up on screen sometimes. I can't imagine how long it takes to make your videos but they are worth the wait. Take care and happy modelling.
Always dangerous watching great builders build kits because then I want to buy the kit but it won't turn out like yours. Great work! Very jealous and envious of your abilities.
Im happy now that you've uploaded, I thought you were gone for good! Not that I wanted gone, lol Im not that horrible, you have an amazing eye for detail and hope to see another project like this! I suggest you make another motorbike, something lile the 1/12 scale Tamiya Honda NXR 750 Paris-Dakar bike. I would love to see that bike made by you! And you would also be the first one, because no one else has made a full model building video of this amazing model kit, and that's why you would be the first one, which is always cool. Anyway, keep doing what you're doing, because I am enjoying it!
Hi Ziggy, Wow, the amount of detail again!!! Just so relaxing and satisfying to see the craftsmanship of you. Can’t wait for the next part. Can you already tell what car you’ll be building next to this McLaren? Thanks for the upload.
My hands don’t function the way yours seem to. Obviously I was born with some kind of genetic defect that makes mine much clumsier as well as much more unsteady than your hands are. What a rip. I’m filing a complaint. This model would be a lost cause in my hands, so I’m glad it’s in yours. Well done!
Some of the best work I've seen in 40 years of modeling
The level of detail you create on the model is stunning, absolutely amazing! Also the filming, lighting and editing are flawless, you deserve a lot more subscribers.

Agreed with this guy. Just amazing.
Your builds and videos are phenomenal, I just have one request: More Ziggy pls
MORE??? I have one of these and instead of building I'm watching. Hahahaha.
Ziggy is his dog for Christ’s sake.
To quote the late Tom Petty, “the waiting is the hardest part.” I thought you’d be done in Part 2. Silly me! Hurry up with Part 3 please! Great car (and driver), great kit, great build...so far 😊
I love the live version where he invited Eddie Vedder to sing along. Plays on TP Radio pretty often.
I am in love with your attention to detail in your builds, this is amazing!
Love your lighting... love your colors... love your techniques. I wanna build this kit now! 🤩
No se si entendes español... pero no quería dejar de decirte q tus videos son sencillamente expectaculares. Ademas, sin musica, producen un efecto de inmersión en el armado nunca antes visto en ningún otro usuario de youtube.

Fabulous workmanship, thank you for sharing your work. And no music to spoil it either. Fantastic videos of supreme craftsmanship.
finally the second part

End of video: There's a Part THREE?! 😱

Thanks Daniel! I actually have that mp4/13 in my stash along with a bunch of extra detail parts, but I’m not sure when I’ll get to it

Yaaaay finally! I miss your videos so much! Nothing is better than watching your new upload on a Saturday night.👍
Mercy! You, Sir, have gone from “craftsman” to “artisan” with this build.

3070Gordo the trick is to cut back on caffeine the days I have to work with tiny photo etch pieces 😉
I will fail miserably when there are PE parts involved ... even with magnifying glasses! How do you do it?! You are truly a MASTER!

Thanks George, appreciate you stopping by 🙏🏻
Putting the decals on the glossy surface really makes the edges disappear after another gloss coat afterwards, great work!
I always wondered why someone would clear coat on before laying down decals and then clear coat afterwards.

Superb my friend. Your videos are great! Nothing over complicated, just pure model making visual pleasure
Hey Robert, thanks! appreciate the support
Lol It's been so long since part 1, I thought I missed this. After watching the video, I can see why it took so long. Incredible attention to detail, amazing work.
Legend has it that more effort went in to making this model than the real car.
Wahoo you’re back! Thanks for the content and great job managing your own life too👍🏻✌🏻
Thanks Aaron! 🙏🏻
Love your almost flawless decal application. Lovely finish to model.
Modelling at the hands of a surgeon!!!!
I don't think I would have the patience for those tiny toggle switches. Also those seat belts were cool. Great job as always.
Finally a new video. Been waiting for this for a long time.. 😂
Superb build - excellent details. Fantastic finish as usual too. Great video.
i'm most fascinated by the seat belts and just the cockpit detail in general
The detail on the monocoque is amazing!
Love your vids man, keep up the good work!!
yes another video!!! been checking everyday your builds rock
This is absolutely mind blowing.
That's a crazy amount of details. Love it! You just got a new subscriber, man.
I waited 2 months for this, worth it.
It'e very nice and politely work. Also it's incredibly fine. Actually, it doesn't looks like a model no longer.
I'm looking forward to the next.
I’m speechless, you created another perfect video. I look forward to your next one! -James
Appreciate it James!

There's something to be said about putting so much work and effort onto details that won't ever be seen again
For sure this is becoming a master piece. Great skills which are inspiring!
Makes me leave my MP4/4 at rest for a while. First some practice to do :)
Looking real good!
Honestly, this level of attention to detail. Mclaren themselves would hire you.

Thanks! This kit is a headache in terms of everything fitting together, just a heads up if you ever decide to get it
THE great car, miss you !!
Been waiting for this
OCD levels of details, just amazing
About gotdamn time part 2 was completed!
Hope all is well, look forward to part 3

Bloody brilliant build, any thought to building Senna's Williams ?

I've got the Tamiya MP4/4 on its way and if I can even make it look half as good as yours, I will be happy.
Love it... loved the tyrrell but nothing beats a senna mclaren.
Amazing work bro, looking forward for the next update, question, you scratch build the stirring linkage U joints?
Thanks Marcos, no they were included with the photoetch in the top studio set. 2 pieces you bend and a wire that goes through the middle.

This is brilliant. I love the details of your builds, especially this one! Where are you getting most of your Top Studio supplies?
Thanks! Usually spotmodel or macsmodeling, kinda hard to find stuff lately so eBay if I really need something that’s not available.
