They sure made beautiful cars back then, didn't they? Your superior modeling skills have brought all that beauty from my memory to reality. Thank you so very much!
I agree, box stock is nice. Sometimes plumbing just makes things look messy. If you don't add anything then everyone is on a level playing field like iroc.
I purchased this model kit at a Slot Car store, the seal had been broken but all the contents were still there, so I got it for a good price, when I opened it up, I was like oh boy this will be difficult to assemble. Thanks for a great video.
This is my first time visiting one of your videos and you made my inner child get excited again. I’ve always been passionate about model cars, i’ve had bags and bags of mini versions of real cars and knew every car brand by heart when I was 5. If i knew this hobby existed, I know for sure that I would be doing the same as you. Thank you.
This was the very 1st LM race car i was sitting inside when i was +/- 13 years old, my 1st feeling, it looked like an fighting jet cockpit. It was insane !
Really nice. I know this car very well. And I know Peter Sauber. He is a real Gentleman. This car was the founding of the return from Mercedes Silver Arrows to the racetracks of the world. And it was really fast...
Wow i thought mine was nice. But you made it 200% better. A true masterpiece you made of it. I think i need to order it again and improve my first build. Excellent result it is.
Im finiahed with mine i added carbon fiber decals and PE kit. So I figure opening the doors and front cowl would make it easier for an observer to see all the time effort and expense that went into it. I already bought a second copy to build in curbside configuration in tge same display. I am very satisfied with the results on the first one and look forward to the next
An excellent build, one small mistake though. If it is meant to be the Le Mans winner from 1989 the mirrors and the colour patch around the rear light should be fluorescent Yellow not red.
Hey my friend I want to say thank you for sharing your videos an I have been watching them an I build doll house furniture an 1/12 scale garage stuff for my dioramas I am in a wheelchair now I got hurt about 4 years ago I got crushed with a log an I have took up building rc trucks an scale garage dioramas fr my 1/10 scale garage stuff an I have just started in on these models and I really like the realistic in the builds like the way you do in your builds so thank you again an you do nice work till the next on
Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your story. It’s amazing to hear that you’ve found joy in building dollhouse furniture and garage dioramas. Your resilience is inspiring. I’m glad you enjoy my videos, thanks again, and see you in the next video!
Loved your video. It makes me happy that people like yourself post these wonderful videos showcasing the hobby and your skills. Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing your channel grow.
Can you put in the description what paint and varnish type you used. Trying to get that Metallic finish and a varnish that works seems to be a real challenge. Great build.
Thank you! I use GLASURIT 923-335 + 929-93 clear coat and regular silver paint, as you say, the clear coat magnifies the graininess of the metallic paint, and there doesn't seem to be a perfect way to avoid this.
Greetings from Uruguay! Outstanding job! The finished model looks really beautiful. I'm about to start modelmaking myself. I hope to be half as good as you someday. +1 sub
I think you've done a great build, however I would have paid some more attention to eject&sinkholes, seams , filling gaps and so on before spraypainting. Any way the result looks great!

@@C-Hobby got it thank you. Great work, I haven't started mine. some people use an unusual blue green color for the visible parts of roll cage / chassis. I think Gaia makes it but they're sold out
Thank God! No annoying obnoxious unnecessary music! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! ❤️
Thanks, Danny❤️
I'd rather have a constant background music than the complete random audio dropouts.

I remember buying this kit from KMart when I was 15…. Oh the nostalgia for me 😊
To me personally the most beautiful racing car ever made.
Maybe the Porsche 917🙂
Mercedes CLK LM
@@Jeff-cv4qn Me too.
I like the way you didn’t embellish the build with wires & extra bits, but just did solid modeling skills. Superb job.

Thank you
Congratulations! You make it look so easy... but only because you are an artist. Terrific job!!!!

Nice build
Simply breathtaking. It would be fantastic if you also built Michael Schumacher's No.2 Sauber. ✌🏻🇺🇸
Thank you. I'll consider ❤️
Great work, well done. May I ask what paint did you use for most of the engine, suspension components and turbos? It’s a very nice color. Thanks 😊
Thank you. The paint is titanium alloy & silver
Nice work bro, I remember this car from GT
Nice clean build, well done! Why did you use red for the mirrors and tail ID colour? (and instead of kevlar?)
Thank you, and no particular reason, just like this color scheme 🤭
@wixy500 because each car had different coloured mirrors for identification
@@Quadrant14 While that's true, none of them had red, thus my question. Looks good tho!
@@Quadrant14 loved the build as well but it's number 61 that had the red-coloured mirrors and tail while number 63 had the yellow ones
Superb!!
Nice details
The #63 car should have yellow accent color instead of red. But, Great job at detailing those model!
thank you

just one question, were the mirrors red or yellow?

Lovely build. May I ask what adhesives were used as it seemed able to stick paint to paint quite readily?
It's Loctite 406.

why do you wrap the tweezers in tape? to protect parts from marring? better grip? less magnetism with photo etch?
yes, to protect parts from marring. My tweezers are too sharp.
