We are going to be trying out Spelling Connections! I'm so excited for it. We are coming from Spelling You See for several years. It was wonderful for the younger years, but once we hit Level D... man it became so cumbersome and was taking more time than all the rest of my daughters work combined. Fingers crossed for Spelling Connections ❤
Hi Angelina! I became friends with some moms online that have kids the same age as mine and we just decided to try it out... and over 1 and half later... the kids have formed a friendship! Super unexpected but its been so amazing!
We're going to do the US Government study from TGTB this summer since next year is election year for us. I also have the Maturation study and some other books that help discuss the 🐦 and 🐝 I'm looking forward to doing a lot of literature next year as a family, or one-on-one with each child. I want to work on emotional stability because all of us need to work on developing that. I have the A Little Spot of Feelings books along with some cards I found at Target called Open The Joy that discuss kindness and anger management.
so what do you do with the spelling in the lang book? Currently we are in book/grade 2 and am unsure on what to do with the spelling portion in the book if we are doing a different spelling book.
We glance over the TGATB spelling, see if there is anything I want to hit-- and otherwise just focus on Spelling You See which is our replacement choice

I do what Lisa does just not the same curriculum (lol Lisa thanks for sharing❤) I don't use the spelling list but I do do the spelling rules portion that you might not see this until you hit level 3. For my youngest boy Michael I do use the spelling from TGTB as it's a good fit for him. Thanks for watching ❤

Hi :) Does the LA Level 5 course book lay flat? It looks like it does from the video. But I am debating printing it or buying the physical copy.
It actually lays pretty flat ... my son hasn't complained about not being able to right the answers... so it's pretty good!
