Awesome video. Honestly Akechi Mitsuhide might be dishonorable by feudal Japan's standards, but if my boss killed my mom, I would probably betray/kill him as well. What's the name of the song playing in this video?

Akechi offer his mom to the opponent for peace. Then Oda kill the opponent and the mom. Oda is a ruthless conquerer and man. He does with an iron fist, will take over no matter the cost and no peace. Kinda like Alexander the Great pursuing Darius. The opponent took Oda's dwelling place. That is an insult.
Ex. If I take over your home and pursue peace and forgiveness, would you think it's an insult?
And then the mom. Did the mom have relationship with the opponent? This, we do not know. Perhaps this bring the crack between Akechi and Oda.
Who is the boss? Akechi or Oda. Akechi ask for peace but Oda is not a peaceful maker. So who is the boss?

Mitsuhide betrays the Oda, everyone goes crazy. Ieyasu, Hideyoshi do the same, no one bats an eye.

there is a quite recent NHK drama about Mitsuhide called Awaiting Kirin... strongly recommend it to see a different perspective on his life and personality

Well some of your narration was directly copied from Mitsuhide Akechi wikipedia. I suggest to paraphrase next time.
