Still mourning Peter’s passing on, having loved his music for 50+years and followed his life story. It is our loss but his gain that he’s in the heavenly realm he so looked to..Loved this interview and your great tribute to him here with photos I’ve never seen. Hope you find/post more Peter Green-he lives on in music and all the tangible ways he was with us. It’s when we look back that we see more clearly. And now Peter Green will become more widely known and celebrated. That’s the way of the world. #manoftheworld
Thank you for posting this. A wonderful tribute to a wonderful person. So humble and self-effacing. His music will remain an enduring legacy for decades.
I'm very sorry for your loss. Not many could've persuaded Peter to pick up a guitar again. There are a couple more videos on my channel of radio shows they did together. I hope you and your family are keeping well Josh...
No it was duster Burnett check him out duster was playing with Peter, probably the best harmonica player in the country at the time, jones won’t tell you that!..
I don’t think American singers appreciate british guy’s ‘singing the blues’ I mean you won’t hear the like of Bruce sing in that tone didn’t Robbie Robertson say once something like “ the british guy terribly wants to play the blues and he does play terribly”
Unfortunately by this time Peter had lost it completely he was reduced to ‘playing’ acoustic rhythm guitar while nigel was playing all lead parts including albatross o well etc he was taken advantage of in my opinion no offence please in my opinion, a court order was later taken out against Nigel that stated he kept away from and didn’t contact Peter by Peter’s people sad business indeed!.
The acoustic Albatross was Nigel's idea. He wanted equal billing. After Splinter Group, Peter went to Sweden, where he felt safer. He performed Albatross with a sympathetic band on live Belgian TV around that time. I post link below... I did hear from someone involved exactly why the court order was put in place. Very unpleasant.... Peter's last band allowed him to play solos and he did so pretty well. ruclips.net/video/bW-ClSr3TwE/видео.html&ab_channel=andlinux
Enjoyable show. I’m a big Peter Green fan and never saw this. Thank you.
Lovely to hear Peter simply talking, and those photographs are just beautiful . Thank you. Xx
Green and Kirwan.. The UKs greatest at the time in the late 60´s. Fantastic players.

Thank you great post x
We can still Barrell house baby down by the river side. And I'm standing at the Crossroads, I believe I'm sinking down.
Amazing how he doesn’t rate his own stuff. It’s like he really doesn’t know how great he is.
Chris Rice so true. So humble. No ego. And how he was so moved to help the starving. He had a soul for the suffering of the world.
That’s the way Peter was.
He sounds so articulate here, as if his mind was completely functional and alright. So I wonder what happened to his fiery guitar skills?
didn't know Pete blew the harp!
Long Grey Mare wasn't Mick blowing! Peter's voice and guitar playing altered very much over time but his harp playing got better and better.
