I remember when I first watched this series with my friends back in the day. We thought it was the best thing ever made and it led me to discover other great machinima creators like DigitalPh33r, Guitarmasterx7, and rooster teeth. It led to my love of machinimas and gave me a whole new appreciation for the halo franchise which already had a great community. Looking back it’s sad we don’t see machinimas like this made anymore the halo 3 era of gaming was truly a once in a lifetime experience and I’m so grateful I was there to experience it. Thank you for this Darknal you don’t know how many peoples lives you touched with this series.
I can't believe machinima took these down. They even took down the Inside Halo series with SodaGod and DeadPixel. I remember when this came out. It was damn awesome and my mind was blown how you had more Elites and Soldiers than what you could allow.
I remember watching this when it first came out. I was like 11 or 12 and seeing this massive amount of troops in one map I was shitting my pants confused
So glad to see my favourite Halo 3 machinima back online! Thank you, Darknal - very cool! This is the episode that solidified my favouritism for The Forgotten Spartans - fantastic!
Thinking on it now if those are all Spartans shouldn't they be owning the elites super hard? I mean we see a small group of them owning hundreds of covenant all the time if there's an army it should be even more so. If the answer is just that it's fanmade then I'm totally cool with that since this is an awesome series.
I believe there would have to be an agreement to not play as you usually would (tone down your skill) because then it would be indeed very easy to win. This was made to be more realistic and on a more difficult scale which probably explains why
If you played reach then you'll understand that Spartans aren't as tough as you think there's only two known Spartans in existence that are badass Spartan John 117 Spartan b 312 we're the only two Spartans that were 100% really good if you read the books or anything you would understand if you've watched how kat died a Emile George Carter and not to mention if you remember the battlefield full of dead Spartans at the very end of the game on lone Wolf then you would know you got to take real life consideration into things too man I agree with the guy above but I've read all the books I know exactly what these guys did they did their homework and that's why I appreciate their work I really wish this was Canon though because they kind of reconned this series after Halo 4 came out
@@kevkicksassathalo Some things you messed up, the Spartan II's and Cat 2 Spartan III's are just as capable master Chief, Noble Six was actually better, Hyper Lethal is a finicky title. Master Chief was technically one of the worst Spartan II's in almost every way.
The most groundbreaking moment in halo machinima history.
