    I’m having trouble getting the app to detect my internet connection. It says it can’t find the WAN, or something similar to that. Both nodes have the solid blue light. I have tried resetting the modem and both nodes. How can I solve this? Thank you!

      Hi, may I ask have you make sure that router and node firmware is at the latest version?
      When the router and node have solid blue light, indicate that "Ready for setup, not yet configured"
      Have you try to cross test with other device?
      Also, could you provide the router and node model and firmware version?

    I have a pair of AX5400 (XD6). I followed the instruction and called local Asus support. However, we still cannot set them up properly. The router has white LED and is up, but the node cannot join the network. The node's LED keeps cycling to flashing green and rebooting itself. I am now waiting for more answers.

      Have you updated to the latest firmware version 3.0.0.4.386.46859 and reset the system? If you have tried it with ASUS router app, please also try it in outer setting page. www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1035087
      Please keep the router and node within 3 meters when setup AiMesh.

      @@asus_support Yes, I am using the latest firmware. Today I have tried to factory reset both units and setup both units at the same time. It didn't work the first time, the node kept on rebooting and failed to join the mesh network. The 2nd time I tried, it worked. I decided not to touch them anymore. I contacted the local support. They first recommended me to connect the 2 units together with a cat5 cable. That didn't work at all, and the node was mis-interpreted as the main router. They also suggested me NOT to put the 2 units too close to each other but need to keep them between 1 to 3 feet apart. That might help, but it is all very confusing.
      IMHO, no one can ever tell me what was the problem when the node didn't join. All the suggestions were to retry and retry in slightly different ways. Also, the only visible feedback are the unit's LED light. The application always will say the connections are setup properly even though only the main router is working but the node never joins (although I bought a pair of nodes). The support also mentioned if adding a node didn't work, I should try to setup both units at the same time. That makes me worry if I can add additional nodes in the future at all.
      I'm afraid I can't recommend this product to anyone who doesn't enjoy troubleshooting and can"t afford to spend endless hours with the support. Also one might prepare to retry and retry.

      As a records, I contacted support again and they replied me with a beta firmware (47490) to try. I haven't tried it but I hope it can the setup issue.

    my problem is that, out of no where, I no longer able to wireless connect to the zenwifi AX. My iPhone, CCTV, Samsung phone all cant connect to the zenwifi wireless. It only connected to my main router instead.
    My PC in the other hand that directly connected to Zenwifi AX using LAN Cable, it work just fine. Only the wireless system doesnt work. Its been a week now.

      May I ask if you followed the instructions in the video?
      Is your wifi able to connect to the main router but the node cannot, or if both of them cannot connect to the wifi? What is the current firmware version? Have you updated to the latest version?

      @@asus_support Hi, thanks for the reply. Both nodes using the latest firmware updates.
      I manage to resolve my problem by renaming the SSID to something diff than my wifi name.
      So before I own the Asus Zen Wifi, my router would be seen as "Aliff2.4Ghz@unifi and Aliff5Ghz@unifi".
      So now, paired with my Asus Zen wifi, it would be seen 4 in total:
      -Aliff2.4Ghz@unifi
      -Aliff5Ghz@unifi
      -AliffZenwifi2.4Ghz@unifi
      -AliffZenwifi5Ghz@unifi
      Previously I can merge all of em as long as the SSID (Asus Zen Wifi) name is exactly the same as my router and hide the SSID. But it does not work after few days which idk why.
      For now everything work flawlessly with this current workaround.

    I have spent most of today trying to setup my new ZenWiFi AX XT8 (single unit) to my virgin media hub5. I followed the steps provided and first put hub5 in modem mode, connected xt8 by supplied rj45 cable and was stuck with flashing blue led for almost an hour. I ended up doing a hard reset on both the hub and the xt8 which then gave me a solid blue led, the router app struggled to find the xt8 and kept telling me to use manual setup. My iphone listed the xt8 once in the wifi settings but when I tried to connect it just vanishes and the router app will not go further than telling me to manually setup the connection. How am I supposed to setup when I can't access the gui ? I tried with laptop and did not get anywhere that way, so much for the fast easy setup. I am ready to box it back up and return it.

      Hi, according to your question, do you mean you can’t login to ASUS Router WEB GUI?
      Whether you can't log in by your username and password? or something else?
      May I ask have you try reset the router into factory default setting?

      Make sure you connect the RJ45 cable to WAN port of router.
      Insert your wireless router’s AC adapter to the DC-IN port and plug it to a power outlet.

      @@asus_support I’m stuck on trying to connect to a brand new router from Asus Router app on iOS too. Scanning the barcode at the bottom of the device brings up a message saying that this network does not support Qis. I can connect to the xt8’s network, but the app does not seem to register, so no progress. Very unamused/unimpressed 😖

      Hi support! I’m just trying to setup a brand new XT8, using the ASUS Router app running on IOS. I’m stuck at the step after choosing which device to setup, where you can choose between scanning the barcode at the bottom of the device and manual setup (neither work). I have not tried updating the firmware. Since the app does not afford me the ability to do this (e.g. open the router control panel via ios browser), I’m assuming this requires a computer connected via Ethernet cable?

    I'm using the ZenWifi AX mini for my work, We're a small company. But I can not access our website from the Wifi. I'm using squarespare thru a provider. He says to check my internet settings for a security blocking. I still can't access my own website from my work but I can from home or on my phone.

      It is suggest that you try accessing your company's website using a different device connected to the same ZenWifi network.
      Also, incorrect DNS settings can also cause website access issues. Check the DNS settings on the ZenWifi AX mini and ensure they are configured correctly. You can try using alternative DNS servers such as Google DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) or Cloudflare DNS (1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1) to see if it resolves the problem.

    Hi, my asus zen wifi router suddenly stop working overnight. I replaced the router with the same one since i have 2 on purchase. When i setup everything, the router still show red light. Can u let me know what i can do further?

    Hey asus my asus vivobook 15 has a dim light only with a moniter i can see the screen normally,i tried hard reset i tried making the brightness up there are videos that you need to unscrew the bottem of the computer but im not doing those because i could break something

      IPv6 passthrough mode makes router function as a bridge, allowing it to passthrough IPv6 packets for the purpose of using FLET'S services such as IPv6 FLET'S Virus Clear, IPv6(IPoE). To configure the service, access the router's Web GUI and select the "Connection type" according to your ISP.

    I followed all the instructions, but this router is unable to reach internet. I have a ZTE F660 modem with optical fiber cable to reach internet and everything worked fine on my old TP Link AC1200, but my new Asus can not connect for some reason...Even if it's the fault of the firmware version, how can I update my router, if I don't have internet connection if I plug it in?
