- Hi, everyone. Let’s get to know dinosaurs with ZHAO Chuang. In today’s video, he will talk about Dapeng the Yangchuanosaurus magnus, a huge carnivorous dinosaur, almost more than 10 meters in length. As a fearsome animal from the Late Jurassic, it lived in the present-day Sichuan Basin, near the Yangchuanosaurus shangyouensis that we are all familiar with. Some people think that Y. magnus is actually conspecific with Y. shangyouensis, and it is a fully adult form. However, it greatly differed from Y. shangyouensis, especially in some features on the skull and the overall body proportions. Check the video to find more.

amazing looking model, and love the addition of the lips really makes it look much more life like.
interesting video, glad we got also a figure based on the bigger yangchuanosaurus but i wonder...despite the proportion differences why could magnus not be an adult of shangyouensis? after all we know dinosaurs changed quite a lot as they grew for example how tyrannosaurids have young forms with longer legs, more slender bodies and thinner skulls than the adults
If they was two different animals, then did they live together around the same time?

Dear PNSO,
Did you start to add lips to your theropods/dinosaurs due to pressure from complaining customers?
Cant have it both ways PNSO! You gonna sell me on accuracy, then render my purchase inaccurate a week later, wheres my refund? What should I do with the now suddenly inaccurate one you sold me? Put it in storage with my also inaccurate Walmart dinosaurs that drag thier tails behind them? DONT get me started on all your models being boring brown, simply cause you got a deal on brown paint when bought in bulk lol
@@ronniepatterson2827 Honestly, the lip debate is still pretty much open, lips vs. no lips is a 60-40 chance at max as of now.
@@Supiragon1998 Sounds good to me as I prefer most dinosaurs with lips, but also like several species without lips.
