Hello my lovely fans and friends. I'm overwhelmed at the love you've been showing this video and song. Out of anything I've ever written, "Fish" is the nearest and dearest song to my heart and the fact that you like it gives me so much joy. =) OKAY OKAY I'll answer all your questions about why it's titled "Fish." No, I did not point a finger at a random place in a dictionary hahaha. This song is about finding your "fish in the sea." Good luck and godspeed to you all, and when you do catch the lucky gal/guy who deserves all of you, celebrate and slow dance with my new jam. ;) This will be on my second album coming out September '12 so look out for that. I canNOT wait to share it with you.

I saw Clara C live in Houston when I was in college. First concert I ever attended. Got a signed poster and "ESC" CD.
10 years later. I'm engaged and have been long distance with my fiance for 4 years because of Covid. I'm in charge of the wedding in America and one of the biggest stresses has been what song to pick for our dance. I found my "ESC" CD and when I heard this song come on; It was obvious.
Such a beautiful song sung by a beautiful artist.

My ideal fish is someone who loves and cares for me through the ups and downs, pushes me to do my best or reminds me that I am only one person and can do so much, wants to talk things out instead of walking away, wants to go on adventures whether it be travelling to places or trying new things out, and knows me inside and out.
There's something about Clara's voice I can't really pinpoint. She moves from one phrase to the next effortlessly while conveying the emotion. Plus, she seems very down to earth when she sings; it's like you could go ahead and be best friends with her. I could write a book about how amazing Clara is, but it just wouldn't be enough.

My husband/"fish" surprised me today by taking me out for Ethiopian Food for lunch today. It was our first time ever trying Ethiopian Food, and the food was great! My husband always puts us first. We love being adventurous together by going out and trying/doing different things. He has an amazing heart, and loves me for who I am! He's taken care of me while I've been sick for a couple of months. I've been feeling better now! I'm so lucky to find a catch like him!

Just came back from a hard shift at work with no sleep the night before. Listening to Clara's beautiful voice picked me right up and gave the energy to finish the rest of my day.
My ideal fish would be someone...

who laughs with me until my stomach hurts and tears come out of my eyes,
who isn't afraid to be themselves around me even when his friends are close by,

I have been blessed to find my FISH already. We met in a middle school cafeteria. He was sitting alone by the window, looking down, so I walked up and struck up a conversation. We were the best of friends, thick as thieves, for 5 years, when we realized that we were truly perfect for each other. He is kind, funny, dedicated, loyal, and forever supportive. Through every crazy idea Ive had, and every silly thing Ive dreamt up, he has stood by me through it all. 23 years and counting!
