Itinerary for North Sikkim: A 5-Day Adventure
      Day 1: Arrival in Gangtok
Check into Zemu Gangtok - a comfortable and well-located hotel.
Spend the evening exploring the vibrant MG Market and nearby attractions. This bustling area is perfect for shopping, trying local delicacies, and soaking in the culture.
Day 2: Gangtok to Tsomgo Lake & Nathula Pass
Book a cab directly from Gangtok for a day trip to Tsomgo (Changu) Lake and Nathula Pass (the Indo-China border). The ride costs around ₹3,000, but prices may vary, so try negotiating with the drivers.
Ensure to book in advance and carry your permits, which can be arranged by your travel agent or taxi driver.
      Return to Gangtok by evening.
      Day 3: Journey to Lachung
Early morning departure for Lachung. The taxi fares for this journey can be steep, so don’t hesitate to haggle or explore shared taxi options if you're traveling solo.
Arrive in Lachung and check into Rufina Lachung Kunga or explore other accommodations in the area.
Spend the evening enjoying the serene mountain views and preparing for the next day’s adventure.
Day 4: Exploring Yumthang Valley & Zero Point
Depart early for Yumthang Valley, known as the Valley of Flowers.
Continue to Zero Point (if weather permits), where you can experience the snow-covered landscape at an altitude of over 15,000 ft.
Return to Lachung by evening and rest.
Day 5: Return via Mangan or Straight to Gangtok
On your way back, you can opt to stay overnight in Mangan, though it's entirely optional. Alternatively, head straight back to Gangtok.
      Tips & Recommendations:
Permits: Required for visiting Nathula Pass, Lachung, and Lachen. These can be arranged by your taxi driver or local travel agencies.
Transport: Taxis can be expensive, especially in peak season, so try negotiating the fares. Shared taxis are also available but may not be as comfortable for long journeys.
Accommodation: While I stayed at Zemu in Gangtok and Rufina in Lachung, there are plenty of options to suit different budgets.
Best Time to Visit: May to June is ideal for clear views, while October to December offers stunning snow-clad scenery.

    Just low the music.
    Up the kahani.
    Make low tone of voice.
    And add locals.
