    I tried batik painting for the first time few years ago. I hated that I couldn't get used to tjanting so I used my paint brush. Though that eventually destroyed my brush due to the heat. Suddenly I thought about getting artsy again with the pandemic ongoing. Thank you for your videos. It surely restores my motivation to learn batik painting again.

    Hi Abid...Do we need to soak the fabric in sodium silicate after batiking .. please inform..your work is just amazing...

    • @abidzcraft
      @abidzcraft  3 года назад +1

      Thanks. I just iron the fabric with newsprint sheets place few under the fabric and few over the fabric and iron. After ironing dip in hot water with two tbsp of washing powder.
      You can watch the video i linked that video in this video and check the video description.

    Thanks a lot for your reply..I have seen all your videos..Just confused with various process.. some says for color fixation, sodium silicate is important..some use fine gum for brush batik..what should I use actually for brush batik..

      I didn't use anything.I used iron fixed silk paints no need to apply anything on the fabric and no need to dip in color fixer.
