In this short documentary, director Conor Buckley from Piquant Media speaks to Limerick 3-piece Bleeding Heart Pigeons about the process behind their sophomore album, "Stir", as part of the Piquant Artist Series.
Conor Buckley is Artistic Director at Piquant, a production company based in Limerick City. The ‘Piquant Artist Series’ is a collection of short films, exploring artists from a diverse range of disciplines, and examining a specific piece from their body of work.
Bleeding Heart Pigeons caught the nation’s attention with the release of their debut album “Is” in 2016. For them, it was a long journey from their initial release to the announcement of their second album. In the four intermediate years they had grown older, parted ways with a major record label in order to set up as an independent act, and embedded themselves within Ireland’s burgeoning DIY music scene.

Lads, I can't believe I've rediscovered your music from long ago.
One of my mates sent me an old song tonight and it triggered me into remembering 'old oak tree' and other favourites like 'hallucinations'.
I used to wonder what happened with you guys but now I understand more from this video.
It's pretty shitty to see that it didn't take off for you guys the way i think it should have. Boooo.
