The stout-swilling trio from Dundalk, made up of Charles Hendy, Andrew Hendy, and Sean McKenna, travel the length and breadth of the country singing and collecting songs. With a stripped-back, punk approach, their unique take on folk songs distinguishes them from other ballad groups, whilst bringing a raw energy to their live performances. Here we were, my parents, my husband and I, celebrating my dad's birthday and listening to the Dubliners, and suddenly this cover came up. We loved it, thank you for contributing to an enjoyable evening in a small town in Germany.
