The stout-swilling trio from Dundalk, made up of Charles Hendy, Andrew Hendy, and Sean McKenna, travel the length and breadth of the country singing and collecting songs. With a stripped-back, punk approach, their unique take on folk songs distinguishes them from other ballad groups, whilst bringing a raw energy to their live performances. Sit down and have a pint with the Mary Wallopers.

Here we were, my parents, my husband and I, celebrating my dad's birthday and listening to the Dubliners, and suddenly this cover came up. We loved it, thank you for contributing to an enjoyable evening in a small town in Germany.
If I’ve ever heard a band worthy of filling the void, left by the Dubliners .
😊😊
@Oooo-bi7bi tbf they are better musicians than dubliners excluding luke.
@@liamcronin8110if you're talking "musicianship" alone... John Sheehan might have something to say about that 😊
I know when I’ve had a good day, When I’m up at 4.30 am listening to these Lads.
Sitting looking over the Melbourne skyline far from home, listening to songs my dad sang to me as a kid, Thanks lads!
iv listened this video at least 200 times
That rendition of Lowlands is pure bliss
That fringe and the trainers , priceless.
Absolutely electric. Can't get enough of these lads in either iteration.
Are they also “ye vagabonds “🤩?
@@tumadoireacht they are not the same people
No lol they have a rap group called TPM
@@tumadoireachtyes. The Lynch brothers (Lankum), MacGloinn brothers (Ye vagabonds) and the Henry brothers (Wallopers) are all in fact the same pair of brothers in different, fiendish disguises.
My favourite part of this video is when the tea turns up in Fiddlers Green, just at the right line ahah
this concert and their live streams are helping me through this corantín
That has to be the best rendition of Eileen Og I've ever heard. I come back for just that one song. The rest is great, of course, but damn that's just a great version.
C'mon the town! Here in Van Demons land listening to them Dundalk boys calling me home!
Breath of fresh air on the trad trail..best of luck lads.
"and the skipper below making tea for the crew" lyrics in fiddlers green as the fellow puts down a tea for the lads, classic sync
Agree the Pecker Dunne RIP is there also the early Clancy Brothers. Brilliant lads so very Irish and yet will be appreciated by the entire English speaking world. Go for it.
Margaret Barry.... The Blarney Stone.

I would like to join this group as a full time member, I would work for very little money, I can sing a little, I and very good driver, I could help to keep the crowds back from invading the stage, I am a good hard working man for my age, Well can I join your group
Ballintubbert Fair...loads a cream 🛀
Genius music kinda wasted on that crowd.
These guys are incredible
It's difficult to sit in front of an audience like that that's why sunglasses were invented, you need balls if steel for that believe me
