Enjoy your vlogs very much, and admire your patience with your children and baby Sean. They are all welled loved and it shows. I wanted to share that many years ago, we didn’t have all the good advice parents have today on sleep training etc. We did the best we could. Diapers had to be washed and hung outside. Meals had to be cooked, the house cleaned, and the needs of others in the home attended to. My version of sleep training was to feed the baby, play with it some, and then put it down in its crib to sleep. Yes, the baby cried some when it was put in the crib. We would open the door to the room, peek inside to see if everything was ok, and gently close the door again. Most of the time, within 15 minutes, all was quiet. It may have seemed harsh to allow a baby to cry for 15 minutes or so, but the pediatricians back then encouraged it. It honestly worked well, and our babies thrived and grew up happy. Things are so different today with the amount of options parents have in sleeping apparatus, automatic bouncy/rocking cribs, co-sleepers etc. In spite of all that, todays parents face the same sleep challenges with babies as we did a long time ago. One thing we will always agree on is that a baby that sleeps well makes for happy moms and dads. It looks like Sean is doing better and better with his sleep training. Hoping it won’t be long before sleepless nights are a thing of the past for you. PS. You look amazing to have a two month old infant. Not getting enough rest agrees with you! 🤓
Also! I’m going through a similar fashion reboot. I’m 32 and have a 20 month old. Getting ready is too stressful with a baby! So I’m creating a capsule wardrobe. I got rid of SO much and am focusing on all pieces that can mix and match and I’m trying to invest in better things, slowly, rather than cheap, fast fashion. I picked a color palette that looks good on me (autumn colors) and am ONLY buying things in that palette. It’s finally starting to take shape and it’s so exciting!! Just take it slow. We’ll get there, mama!
My husband said no matter the shoes. He absolutely hates it when anyone do the jacket thing around the middle. I used to love it. He now just take it and say i will hold your jacket...LOL.
I like the socks! I think you’re just not used to it. It looks so cute on you! I wear the scrunch socks because yay! They’re back in with my “chunkier” shoes like NB or ankle boots like my docs. Then just the thinner mid calf socks with “thinner” shoes like vans or converse
My daughter loves the activia dailies they have less sugar than the danimals and they're the same like drink thing size and all and they have 3 different flavors 💓💓💓 I i guarantee your kids will love them
I actually think the socks look cute :)! I usually pull them a tad higher and I like to scrunch them a little bit. But I think you can totally pull it off 🥰.
Keep a baby potty in your trunk for Jackson!! Can’t recommend it enough. Have him use it before you go in the store or after the store. Helps you all avoid having to go back in, especially when Joe goes back to work and you are alone
I can totally relate to the what to wear dilemma. I try my best to avoid having a hungry baby in public as I'm EBF but I'm still worried I'll get into a situation where I need to feed him in public so I worry about having a nursing friendly outfit. I also leave the house so comparatively infrequently so I also want to look nice. Then there's the fact that my son usually ends up in a carrier and there's a chance of spit up or leaks so it needs to be easy to clean/change. I don't want to spend a bunch of money on specific nursing clothes too. Oh and by the way I think you can pull off the socks if you like them
A shoe trick is take a sticker and cut it in half and put half in each shoe so when the shoes are next to each other, it makes the full sticker! so like the left side of the sticker goes in the left shoe and the right side goes in the right shoe and it’s complete picture when they’re next to each other in the correct order! I hope this makes sense😂😂😂😂😂😂
I have a 7 week old boy and he’s very similar to Sean! Also doesn’t like the car seat and wants to nurse every 2 hours (or less time). He’s been struggling with sleep this past week and it’s hard so I can relate to your content. I also struggle with anxiety leaving the house because he screams and it’s just hard, do I choose to stay home all day or risk leaving and him losing it (which is what usually happens). I also have to pray for patience. God bless you, seeing your videos makes my day!
I like the sock look for leggings and atheisure wear. Totally understand about sleep struggles with baby, shirt napper here too. One thing that worried me seeing was that baby is sleeping I. The snuggle me, these have not been rated safe for sleep. Your a great mom and his sleep will adjust better as he starts being able to regulate sleep cycles.
Kayla what have you been wearing on your face/makeup and skin care because your glowing and very dewy and looking bright and fresh and gorgeous!!! I must say my skin is typically very dull and I spend my life in the stores looking for things to brighten and make my face dewy and glowing like yours…😂❤Help please!!!!
The high socks thing is a throw back style from the 80s. Gotta find the scrunchy sucks and layer them with 2 colors and get ahead of this trend lol. ❤ And yes we had to account for the double socks with a bigger size shoe 😉
Hi Kayla, my baby is almost a year old and I feel like I don’t know how to dress myself anymore. I’ve completely lost touch with what’s in fashion and I’m still trying to figure out what looks good on me postpartum. So I can totally relate to your fashion challenges. My baby will sleep for two hours if I hold him. Otherwise his naps are 30 minutes long. Little ones just love to be snuggled. 😊
my son turns 2 in Dec and he still wakes up twice at night , it used to be more times until the Ferber method then it was just twice . But every single morning my patience is tested for sure! I’m hanging in there don’t know what else to do his Dr didn’t even have anymore advice to give.
Lol ab this sock situation 😂 I feel ya. Was just talking to my gf ab this. Over 30, mama, and not sure how to dress! Usually go for trendy but that feels wrong nowadays
I think til the 7th, Target Circle has 50% off select artificial trees (ordering online). We've been needing one and I'll never buy one this year if I didn't get it now. Baby boy is due Christmas Eve
Hey kayla its been pleasure watch you all....kisses n hugs to raily...jackson...sean....one thing to say hope u dont mind...plzz try not to wear outside shoes at home.....its like flr get contaminated with germs n all....well its gud to hv ummmm home shoes or slippers or sliders ....😅
Kayla, our little guy REFUSED to sleep in his crib when he was new but would sleep in his bassinett. it was almost like it was too big of a space for him. Worth a shot? ❤
Potty tip! Keep that OXO potty in the car with disposable potty bags! Much easier to have the kiddos pee or poop in your car versus taking them to the public bathroom!
For Jackson and future potty training with Sean, keep a little potty seat in your trunk just for those emergencies! Have you thought of putting something with “your scent” on you, in Sean’s bassinet/crib/rocker or stroller? It should settle him. I have never stopped putting my socks over legging/pants! lol it went of style? lol Have you tried giving Sean a nice warm bath to let him know a schedule for bedtime? And Lavender/Eucalyptus scented baby wash helps them to relax as well. Keep up the great work momma!! I love your talks on how you deal with stressors in your life! Prayer is so healing.
You look great in the cap to. I love your necklace with the cross. My children became obsessed playing with water at Rylie's age lol she's to funny. Sean is adorable, his beautiful deep blue eyes! Jackson is thriving xxoo
Hi! Been following since I was pregnant with my 3 1/2 year-old son and now still following with my almost 3-month-old baby boy. I have an unpopular opinion, but are you opposed to having Jackson go pee outside? It has saved us so much when he can just pee behind a tree or privately out of the car etc lol… just a thought. Also have you considered something like the baby bjorn bouncer? We didn’t have it with my first but I was really wanting it for the baby this time around and it has been a game changer… It’s so light and portable and he loves hanging on it so now he can hang out with us wherever and still be sitting up but also moving and he seems to be more content like that. Maybe trying something like that for Sean can help him be happier in different places? 🙏🏽🙏🏽 happy to be mommying alongside you as I’ve learned a ton from you ❤️
Thats why islam is so peaceful because you don’t have to please anyone but god so you won’t be overwhelmed running after people acceptance and and their unstable fashions
Sorry but socks down. We are confirming what Europeans think about our fashion. Our fashion sucks because we wear high white socks. For me I learned to never ask my husband how I look. When I lived in Switzerland I asked my mother in law and my husbands friends (they like me more than my husband 😂).
Can I just say that I meant to comment on the other video where you talked about Pinterest and all the blazers and for real! Who are these women? Are they real? Like come on lol
There's a really good lady that you can look into style-wise now she's not a Christian but her name is Marissa Morales and she styles people she hasn't style the models she's Kyle's everyday people if that will help you you might be able to look into that she does have a Instagram she does RUclips videos so I don't know if she would help you but she might be able to give you some tile and steps I picked up a few of my own from her
I would love to see more videos with how you’re wearing things and how you choose anything you buy to work with your new body!

About the sox don’t worry about it ❤ wear what makes you happy and is comfortable. Your a great mom and I love watching your vlogs.
I love the socks! You totally rocked them! ❤

My girl you’re glowing and thriving in this postpartum season and I’m so proud of you!
Try the taking cara babies course it was an absolute godsend for us!
Good morning friends!! Hope you are having a great week. Happy Hump Day. ❤
I personally like the socks and think they look cute! 😊
The socks look great!

I also had no luck with sock-up style... I have soccer legs and my legs look like little stumps with these socks...
Get the oxo potty on the go. It’s sooooo convenient. I leave it in the trunk of my car and we just use it there 😅
I like the sock look for leggings and atheisure wear.

I think the socks are working for you! And I’m picky about trends. But I think it looks cute. You’re pulling it off. Don’t stress it.

Love the long socks showing!! Very cute
Your rocking it girl! ❤ ✌🏼
Ummm.. I used to wear my socks that way in the 80s, sometimes two pairs.. 😂 only mine were the wormy looking scrunchy socks..
Just own it, girl! Own those socks ❤
I am the same age as you and I would not be comfortable in the sock up thing😂 Ankle socks for the win🎉
Ankle socks all the way for sure!
my son turns 2 in Dec and he still wakes up twice at night , it used to be more times until the Ferber method then it was just twice . But every single morning my patience is tested for sure! I’m hanging in there don’t know what else to do his Dr didn’t even have anymore advice to give.
I tried that sock trend too but it’s not for me. And I figured it’s because I have short legs with huge(not so huge) calves 😅
I hear you. I tried it too but I have pretty athletic legs so it didn’t look so great. Skinny legs are are requirement to pull that trend.
Hello…What kind of new balance sneaker is that?
Lol ab this sock situation 😂 I feel ya. Was just talking to my gf ab this. Over 30, mama, and not sure how to dress! Usually go for trendy but that feels wrong nowadays
My 6 week old sleeps for 2-3 hours and is awake 15mins-an hour. He also sleeps through the night and wakes up just to eat 2 times a night
Remember you are lucky. This isn't the norm.
If he wakes up to eat 2 times then that’s not quite sleeping through the night yet
I think til the 7th, Target Circle has 50% off select artificial trees (ordering online). We've been needing one and I'll never buy one this year if I didn't get it now. Baby boy is due Christmas Eve
Love your videos what we do is carry around a portable potty with us so we have one in case of that
I heard him say “I love you!” at 11:06 !
I like socks folded down at the bottom
I have never clicked on a notification this fast haha

I can’t do the sneaker with socks trend. I’m sorry but it reminds me of my dad since he’s worn his shoes and socks like that forever haha
You are looking great! Having a two month old suits you:)
Kayla, our little guy REFUSED to sleep in his crib when he was new but would sleep in his bassinett. it was almost like it was too big of a space for him. Worth a shot? ❤

Socks up looks great
Socks up that’s the trend but do what’s comfortable for you😊
The socks up work on teens but in my opinion that look isn't hot on anyone 🤣

Why do you wear a hat while inside your house?
