Had a Fly bag like that 10 years ago...nothin new. I say just Carry your helmet bag folded up in your regular backpack and use it for storage bc its padded protect those photochromatic lenses/carbon and its seperate so you can stash it somewhere else less awkward overall.
I have exactly the same helmet, but the problem is that I live in Brazil, so I can't even leave the motorcycle parked on the street because they could steal it.

Not a thief, but I saw a helmet just sitting on the seat walking down the street and I thought about it. In general I actually agree, most people, most places will not steal most things. California(all?) and NYC seem like the exception where seemingly everything and anything is stolen constantly. Repeatedly leaving the same thing vulnerable in the same place is what gets people.
Litterally had 2 friends last week do this at their local bike night, they left their helmets on the mirrors and went to get food, they came back an hour later and their helmets were gone. Luckily the bike night was local but still a ball ache
Melbourne here, im surprised you can drive a motorcycle around Orlando without going insane. I drove mine to Bass Pro and just the 15 miles to get through orlando was a bikers worst nightmare. Traffic and stupid people.

I had a friend who had just got himself a new 1300$ avg with a 500$ cardo packtalk about 4 years ago and forgot his helmet on his bike while he went into a gas station to use the bathroom. Was in and out in less than 5 minutes and by the time he came out it was gone. He didn’t even have it for a week.
Yep...my father had his 800$ full custom helmet stolen doing this exact shit in orange county ca I live in FL and i always take my helmet and gloves inside 5 on helmet 3 on sena 3 on gloves thats 1100 i aint willing to lose Not strapping it to the bike either iust to have it cut ofr 🤷🏼♂️
Dude you can have a regular back pack and use the chin strap around the arm strap of the pack and still put other stuff in the pack. Dedicating the whole pack to the helmet seems silly and gimmicky to me.
@@caseG80 actually, yes, your head does compress the foam. Helmets need to be replaced every 5 years in part because the foam compresses. The mirrors apply focused pressure over a small surface area which makes the compression worse.
I got a $150 jbl speaker and helmet on my bike but when i go anywhere usually i take both with me and the speaker fits in the helmet. I value it and dont have the money to replace it and already lost a weed cart pen and other shit. but generally i dont trust people. I even have a cut proof lock and heavy duty cutproof chain i lock the front rotor with so i make sure everything is secure and there when I come back out, only way they can steal my shit is to have a truck and lift it in the back, even when I go to sleep i lock up the bike outside. Yeah its added weight but like i said i value my things, and already had a 150cc scooter stolen and a 50 but recovered that one. Some kids around the corner where I used to live stole it found it 3 days later 2 streets over on the sidewalk spray painted and missing the battery and broken plastics. Can't have shit in Brockton.

Lets just take the rear seat off and put the buckle/strap under that and lock the rear seat back in... simple.. also sir ORLANDO is bigger than MIAMI. So "big cities"... it happens in your city, just not your area.

I don't put my helmet on my mirror because over time it can compress the foam inside the helmet making it less able to absorb energy in a crash.
