Lantana is a genus of about 150 species of perennial flowering plants in the verbena family, Verbenaceae. They are native to tropical regions of the Americas and Africa but exist as an introduced species in numerous areas, especially in the Australian-Pacific region, South and Northeastern part of India.

Hello I am from California. I planted my lantanas 3 days back and covered it with plastic can as it's winter going on here. But I do keep my lantanas in indirect sunlight for 3-4 hours a day. My question is do I need to remove that plastic can coverings for sometime in a day so that plant can take carbon dioxide. Or should I open it only for watering the plants.

Mai delhi se hu . Abhi do din pehle mera lentana ja plant bahoot healthy tha but 2din tej barish k baad maine dekha k plant bahoot murjha gya hai or ab uski saari leafs sukh rhi hai..
Mai janna chahti hu k aisa Q hua .meta plant upper chaht pr rkha hai . Kya monsoon in plants k liye theek nhi hai plz btaiye or kya main apna is plant ko bachha sakti hu..

Pot m pani rukne se, root rotting ki problem ho jati hai... Jisse plant mar jate hai...
Lantana ke plants ko jayada pani nahi chahiye hota.
Next time pot m bada chead banaye, jisse pot m pani na ruke, aur sandy soil ka istmal karna..

agar sandy soil nahi milti hai, toh normal soil m 40% sand mila lena, aur baki compost and soil mix karna

puri root ball khali nahi karni, bas side se 1-2 inch mitte ke saat kam dardu.
