Hi! Do you try the new Shark Spartan RS? In this case, what do you think about that: is this the evolution of the GT or the second one is still better?
Anyone successfully installed intercom in this helmet? I'm considering Sena SF4, 10R, or adjusting a 10U to fit the helmet. I just want the outside part to be as little as possible.
I felt that the stability in the wind was pretty good as compared to the other helmets that I have used. I have worn some that have been noticeably bad as far as buffeting and I never noticed this with the Spartan. Best of luck and be safe!
That's a tough one for me. I haven't tried the GT carbon personally but, honestly, if it's worth the extra cash versus the regular Spartan GT, the Shark would be my choice based on the aesthetics since the prices are almost the same and I feel like the shark is a really good quality helmet like the Shoei. Best of luck and be safe!
I found this on Shark's website under the safety section but I didn't see anything specifically mentioning SNELL... SHARK helmets are approved for the safety standards for all countries where distributed: ECE R 22/05 DOT FMVSS 218 USA/Canada INM NBR 7471/2001 Brasil AS/NZS 1698/2006 Australia/New-Zealand I understand how touchy safety standards can be so I will leave my opinions out and wish you good luck with your search! I really like my Shark helmet, fyi. Be safe!
Your quality is amazing

How was the wind? Do you "feel" too much wind or not?

Why doesn't this helmet have ECE/SNELL rating? Or just Shark helmets in general

To be snell certified there can’t be a drop down visor on the inside, which this helmet has.
