- We took some time off recently and decided to take a family road trip to scenic and breathtaking Monterey, CA. On the 6 hour drive, we made a pit stop at the super dog friendly town of San Luis Obispo. Enjoy a tour of our stay at Monterey Tides with simply the best view we ever had at a hotel. Of course, no travel vlog is complete without some delicious food - we're having Italian on our first day out. There's a bit of drama in this vlog with Haru running away and probably the worst cocktail James has ever had. See us get settled in before we enjoy 3 more days here! I love Monterey. I’ve stayed at that hotel for so many getaways. The rumble of the ocean is mesmerizing but soothing. All my doggies love it tool carmel is very dog friendly,

Oysters are great! We understand how they might be offputting the first time you try em (especially if they aren't super fresh) so we're happy to hear you gave them a shot again! And thanks! I've seen that editing here and there and wanted to integrate for ours!

One day I hope you try my award winning Boston/New England Clam Chowder. In the meantime, if you are buy Pismo Beach (San Luis Obispo county) visit Splash Cafe (the original one by the pier) for clam chowder and add the seafood topping. Delish!
