Andhra series is simply awesome. Being natives of this place, you became so dear to us. Language problems are there, but people are friendly. You stole our hearts with this series.
Lived in most parts of India, in fact in most of the south Indian states. Andhra food has no comparison to any I've found in India. The breakfasts are awesome, the lunch is unbeatable, the tiffins aka evening snacks are varied and extraordinary and the dinner is sumptuous.

I never thought Andhara is such majestic from Nature point of view plus culinerary point of view. Andhra is underrated, They can add billions of dollars by proper exhibition and advertising.
The good thing is you are pronouncing telugu village names, food item names so perfectly...Kudos to your hard work in learning local culture/food and you are doing lot of back ground work to know the history and importance of each place... Thanks alot for visiting AP and exploring our traditions and food..
Rajahmundry is my wife's childhood city. During summer vacations, to reach my parents' village, we have to get down at Rajahmundry railway station. From Rajahmundry, you can go to Badhrachalam by boat, passing through beautiful Papi kondalu. And yes, nobody ever died of coconut falling on their head, so it is safe to walk through coconut plantations. In my childhood, I used sleep in coconut plantation ( belonging to my grandfather, just behind our ancestors' house)in a folding cot during afternoons, enjoying the breeze and sound of ruffling coconut leaves.
I never heard of or seen Pootharekulu in my life, that's an amazing culinary item. Bamboo chicken too looks yummy and authentic, although I am a vegetarian, tempted to taste chicken biryani. AP is beyond my thoughts. Boating activity around the backwaters looks fantastic, getting close to nature is always memorable.
SUPERB Harish ji....!!! "Pootharekulu" ... a Unique item. It needs a skilled person with high process control. The entire series is quite enjoyable....!!! 👍👍🙏
Harish Ji: Thanks again and again for reviving old memories of my stay in Rajahmundry. Spent some of my out of college initial bachelor life years there ❤🎉 Potarikulu have evolved. I remember them being just sugar covered during those times. Razole used to be a constant visit (I was in Sales hence know a lot of both Godavari Districts quite well). There was no bridge to cross Godavari from Razole to go to the other side. You had to come to Ravulapalem and then go on NH and then after crossing Vasishtha go to whichever place. Once I went from Razole to Narsapuram by crossing Godavari from Dindi, in a small Row Boat(no motor boat or ferries at that time).with two people rowing it. I had my Motorbike on a stand and I was sitting on it with both feets on each side. It was scary and fun both. I did not know swimming too. Imagine that 😀 Also, maybe the waters are actually much deeper than what that guy said (40 to 60 Feet). The river is narrow and deep there. By the way, Razole and the delta area is like Kerala of the AP. Coconut Trees, Canals and Green Paddy Fields. There used to be a lot of Telugu Movie Shootings there during those times. My memories are from 1990s 😊. So happy that you are creating more appeal of these places to people.
This is the place where we stay. Enjoyed all your videos Sir. We have already seen all the places number of times. Great exposure. Your coverage is excellent Sir.
Harish ji, thanx for this wonderful episode. While we eat Pootha rekulu, seeing their making was just amazing. It's a throbbing cottage industry in Atreyapuram now. You may pl note that south Indians normally eat with their right hand alone. They don't use both hands, like you do in north. Eating with both hands is considered taboo. You've mentioned about the language problem you've faced in AP. Telugu (or any southern tourist) people too face the same language problem when they visit north. Language diversity in India is such. Overall, you could visit & show us many beautiful spots in coastal Andhra which many people might not have seen. We look forward to the remaining trip. Cheers!
Thanks a lot Harish ji for the Andhra tour . You’ve make us fall in love all over again with our home town(s). Your detailed explanation and attention to small details has won us over . I have shared all the episodes to all my friends and said just follow these if you ever want to visit our places . Best guide for first timers ! Your exploration is simply awesome . Thanks 🙏.

hi harsh Baliji, honestly you had been showcasing AP and Konaseema godavari districts in most beautiful scenic and honest way. likewise, I request you to plan Rayalseema 4 districts of AP along with Nellore and Prakash districts of AP as lot of rich history and culture prevails here too where you will help over all AP state which is now divided from Telangana to be showcased to outside world. thanks for u and ur team to showcase AP series.

Bhale hi putrekullu ka taste bekar ho, par aap jis passion ke saathAP ka kona kona Indians ko dikha rahe ho, so happy and appreciate the effort. Aap bharat ko jod rahe ho.
Cool to see you exploring this part of Andhra. Ravulapalem is the starting point to Konaseema. A huge banana market is present here. Dindi is the Kerala of Andhra Pradesh.
It’s Aaviri Kudumu, it literally translates to Aavairi = steamed, kudumu = cake. That’s completely made of urad dal. No rice in the traditional preparation. You will fill a vessel with water, tie a cotton cloth on the top. Add batter over it, cover and steam it. That’s one hell lot of protein. It goes good with jaggery syrup or pickle. Else you would feel it bland. My grand mother used to prepare it for me when we visit them during my childhood. Pootha rekulu = literal translation smeared sheets. REku = sheet Rekulu = sheets
