Ada, you were an absolute angel to accompany Francis back to the US and get him to the hospital! I'm so happy he is doing better.
I so enjoy hearing about the happenings in PV. Your boots on the ground reporting is so helpful for those planning a visit and also for those planning a move to PV. I periodically catch a YT channel from San Miguel and they talk about the water shortage there and also the increase in prices of food.

In Cuernavaca, Morelos there is a great taco place, Taqueria Dany, which has a special of 5 “surtido” tacos for 35 pesos. The place is always full and the food always fresh. ❤

Nice fireworks display for New Year's Eve! Good to know that Francis is doing better, very nice of you to accompany him back to CA and get him settled into the hospital, Ava. The walking tour was very enjoyable! The murals are very pretty, I've never seen tinacos in the wild before (lol), river driving is interesting, love the roosters crowing. Thank you for showing parts of PV that I haven't seen in other videos.
Thanks Cindy! The walk is literally out our front door. It is amazing how you can get in a rut sometimes. We look forward to doing more walks like that in the future.
At least we get fireworks every night so it was ok missing this one.
Have you guys tried El Banquito? It is birria, so more of a lunch spot- near the river. We love it. Super quaint and yummy!

The taco place you mentioned - is it La Guera taqueria, 457 Venustiano on the corner of Emiliano Zapata? We are looking for it. In the transcript it says Weepies.
Actually there are two we show. Guipi’s and La Guera. La Guera is really good and Guipi’s is close by. 🤗

Absolutely correct. Reminds me of a SNL sketch where the English speaking newscaster suddenly pronounced “Nicaragua” correctly. I think when in English mode, it’s hard to not think in “gringo english”

Locals can't be paying 110 pesos for a burrito. There must be cheaper places.
Cheaper food is getting harder to find unfortunately. Puerto Vallarta is more and more tourist centric (it has been for many years, but more so now) and the prices have followed.
