    I saw one of your comments responding to someone else saying you can only usually get a few boxes of Mike and Ike’s at a time at Walmart. To save yourself time and money on multiple trips to get the candy, talk to your local Walmart’s manager and have them order extra for you. I’ve been a cashier and a stocker at Walmart and we’d have people come in all the time and get cases of items.

      I'm in there pretty regularly so that was one of the earlier locations that I thought about, but they already have a bulk stand in there with multiple machines on it.That's a really good idea for a location maybe you can get the DMV in your area and let me know if you do. 👍🏼

    Hey Mike, there's a seller on eBay with 9 lbs of Mike and Ikes for $28 shipped. I believe it is cheaper than buying those boxes at Walmart. Wouldn't be a ton of money saved, but every bit helps! Have a great day/night.

    • @ChromeVending
      @ChromeVending  5 лет назад +6

      Awesome bro thanks for the tip. There is 144oz. in 9lbs. After paying $.98 per 5oz box it comes to $28.80 sub-total. Sales tax will be $2.01 for a total of $30.81 so it is a better deal even if purchased at Sam's under a business account and exempt of the sales tax (which would still save $.80)...plus saving time and gas money driving to buy them!👍
      I will add the link to the description below for anyone wanting to order Mike & Ikes at this reduced price. This will make the profit even better than my nearly 200%.

      Odd how it works out that the smallest package instead works out to be the best price per pound. Best bulk price on Amazon for the bags works out at 20.8 cents per ounce where those 5 ounce boxes work out at 19.8 cents per ounce. I do find it interesting that your state charges tax on the candy. I live in a no sales tax state. Both the states near us have sales tax but neither tax food items. Even if bought at Walmart in one of the states (if it was taxed), if you have a business license showing you are a reseller, you are considered tax exempt.

    What are your profits on the gumball/candy machines on average per vend in the US.
    I had over 100 machines (primarily gumballs) located and became concerned that inflation and commission was slowly making my machines useless, unless I uprated the coin mechs to accept more money, or reduced the quantity to a tiny amount.
    I eventually sold all my machines in their locations and went onto soda and snack machines. Do you have plans to upgrade your coin mechs? It is only a matter of time before 25c won't be worth your while.
