No mention of Texas State Bobcats? They hit the portal hard last year
How to win in the portal:
spend more money than other schools 😂
You have to build a foundation Colorado didn't have 1...
JD always enjoy your insights! Hook’em
Good portal analysis 👍🏼
1:34 prime needs to hear this
Why?
This is the new college football, players are not staying if they’re not playing. Chasing the bag (NIL money)
Prime should listen to this guy why?
My man, even my cat agrees. It does not make sense anymore to spend 2 years recruiting a kid for
Them to dip after the first fall is over for numerous reasons. It just is not worth it.
You can not say this is how it is done when the transfer portal is a brand new aspect of college football.
You do not have the answer my man. You simply are guessing based of the past. Side dish…..lol.
Win
I kind of disagree on how to use the portal. Look at FSU, their whole core was from the portal. Jordan Travis, Trey Benson, Keon Coleman, Johnny Wilson, Branden Fiske, Jared Verse etc we are transfers. Two lower level P5 schools and, G5 schools run the risk of developing players just to watch them be poached by major program. Three if you are adding transfers with alot of eligibility then you can build a foundation that way. 3 years of eligibility is still 3 years of eligibility, It doesn't matter whether you got him from the portal or from HS. Four the portal is hard because it is like speed dating. It makes evaluations harder and, even more crucial. Relationship with other coaches or someone who has a relationship with the player(s) is crucial to speed up the process. I also like adding before the spring window for continuity but sometimes thats not applicable because some players leave for better opportunities which can hurt depth. Five You have take your time and, make sure that players fit you culture.
Travis isn’t really a transfer as all of his development came under FSU . Benson and Johnny were players people were angry at Norvell for taken because they hadn’t done anything. Benson had completely blown out his knee and Johnny couldn’t do anything but block. A lot do the transfers he took didn’t do anything at prior stops like Jarrian Jones Fabian Lovett and the ones I already mentioned. Also Renardo Green, Lawrence Toafili, Kalen Delouch, Shyheim Browm, AZ Thomas, Patrick Payton, Akeem Dent, Josh Farmer, Darius Washington, Mo Smith, Robert Scott etc.. the majority of the starters and contributors were guys who initially signed with FSU. Portal was supplement to what they already had just like it’s been for every school who has used it at a high level.
Spoke a lot of truth on this 💯
👍
I thought Pate State was the master of the transfer portal!
To be successful I’d write down everything Deion does and do the exact opposite. Without Travis Hunter he and Shitter Sanders would be on the streets
Show me on the doll where Colorado hurt you? 🥹👉🏾🧸
@@antonioollison5124nowhere lmao a team that blew a 29-0 lead could never hurt me 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😮😮😮😮😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@antonioollison5124Colorado can’t hurt anyone 😂😂
Colorado is living rent-free in your head.
This guy thinks he knows the portal after displaying his ignorance in critiquing Coach Prime. Definition of an empty suit…. Zero credibility. 🥸
