They took cursive out of schools in the early/mid 2000s.. Thank God I'm a class of 02 so I learned it easily/early
They actually stopped teaching kids how to write in cursive which is crazy
yea like after 2nd or 3rd grade it stopped becoming mandatory (at least where I went)
Imagine if we learned a second language instead of cursive. What a waste of brain power.
My son is in a school that teaches to read and write cursive and we love it. I find it necessary to teach children's minds to expand, to teach the kids how to learn, not just what to learn. Only an idiot would think that learning less is better.
