God, this matchup is a bloodbath. The moment Sol or Gio touch each other, it could easily mean anywhere from 10% to 60% life. Like, Rei 3-0'd, true, but so many of those rounds could have gone to Hamma if Rei had made one more mistake or Hamma made one less. This is what happens when two offensive characters face off in a high damage game.

After playing this game online with it's godlike rollback netcode, it's pretty much impossible to go back to Ultimate and it's dogshit windows 98 delay based netcode. Nintendo should be embarrassed, they have the best selling fighting game of all time and provide an online experience for it that wouldn't even fly in the early days of xbox live. Christ, even Arms had rollback netcode ffs.

yeah imagine the most generic, easiest to learn, easiest to master character with the most thorough moveset that can take on any opponent getting representation in tournaments.

I've been playing smash for a while now, never played a traditional fighting game before. I've been playing GGST and its a ton of fun. I wouldnt say its more or less difficult, just different. The pacing is different and getting used to 5 attack buttons instead of 2 took me a bit. Game has a really great mission mode for teaching game mechanics and basic combo routes. If you pick up GGST I recommend picking a character you like the look of and sticking to just them. Unlike smash, this is not the game for playing multiple characters.
Either make Sol’s f.slash have less advancing range or make it negative on block. I don’t see any reason why it gets to be +3 on block and beat out mid range normals in the game.
You can literally complain about any OP move in this game. Every character has at least one like how Giovanna's 2D is stupid fast, long reaching and can anti-air.
Wonder if I can play PS4 copy of GGST on PS5... I really want to play this game but I'm planning on buying a PS5 later down the line and I don't want to pay twice for the same game. Anyways amazing match! Rei's giovanna was super clean.

@@SySt3m Being hard wired to the internet unfortunately doesnt solve Ultimate's awful netcode. The delay is literally built in the game.
