How To Clean Nike SB Powerpuff Dunks

Today we put Mr. Reshoevn8r to the ultimate test on not one, but three different sneakers. It is only right that we teach you to clean all 3 of the Powerpuff SB Dunks that dropped last year. All three of these sneakers feature a different material on the uppers which means that this cleaning could be a little tricky. However, with the Reshoevn8r Essential Cleaning Kit Steve is CONFIDENT we could get all of these materials clean.
To kick off the cleaning Mr. Reshoevn8r started with the Bubbles inspired Nike SB Dunk. The upper on this blue pair was a textured leather, almost plastic material. To clean this pair we used the Essential Cleaning Kit to breakdown all of the grease and dirt found in that thick material. Steve used the Soft Bristle Brush on the uppers to remove the dirt, but also for the delicate materials on the sock liner and tongue to avoid any snagging. After the upper materials were clean it was time to take on the rest of the shoe using the other shoe cleaning brushes and allowed it to dry.. Onto the next!
Steve then moved over to the Buttercup Dunk which features a 3M upper, so he chose to move over to our latest product.. The Power Pad! Our Power Pad is a pretreated reusable sponge that works great to clean materials such as, leather and rubber midsoles. However, with how dirty these shoes were and how thick the materials are he ultimately decided to move back to the Essential Cleaning Kit. Once he reached his desired results it was time to take on the Blossom SB Dunks.
The pink pair of these SB Dunks had more delicate materials on the uppers, but again it was no match for the Essential Kit. The cleaning process for all three of these shoes was done the same way using the Essential Cleaning Kit. This Kit allows you to clean over 50 pairs of shoes... We ONLY did 3. What should we clean next?!

My favorite pair is blossom
The blossoms are a weird type of leather that feels like a lenticular print almost, definitely not suede.
I have all three pairs and I'm fairly certain only the Bubbles pair is suede, that's coated in something. The other two pairs feel like leather with special 3M coatings.

I always feel like their cleaning new shoes with mud on them. Not something that has wear and cooked in dirt.
These shoes I feel like we're not even worn. I feel like they got them dirty themselves. Don't make sense that they would all have the same dirt on them?
The blossoms (pink puffs) are probably more close to a durabuk, than suede.

Hey bro, try washing your Air Jordan LA to Chicago shoes which have 2 layers of paint. Will the purple paint fade when you put it on the brush? please help me overcome this.. thank you brother
It could. You would have to test a small area to make sure it doesn't happen.

What about cleaning the insoles? How would you go on about doing that?
If you can remove them you would do that and scrub them with the Medium Brush and solution. If you can't it would be best to scrub the inside of the shoe with the Soft Bristle Brush the best that you can.

I have a question reshoevn8tor…for the sole revive, will that work on grey midsoles too or just white? Specificalled I have a pair of Jordan 4 black canvas and the grey modsole started turning a bit yellowish…will sole revive take out the yellow and make it clean grey again or will it do more damage than help it? Thank you

@@RESHOEVN8R I cleaned them up OK I didn’t want to be too rough or use too much because I don’t have the right materials to wash the leather on the shoe, so I just used a little soap and water with a soft rag😭😭😭
But I know you guys can do better on them than me 😔

He's wrong about that, unless it's for the toddlers sizes. The insoles pull right out for adult sizes.
