GOOD looking dozer! By far, the BEST CATERPILLAR (D7G) dozer ever made for absolute MONEY MAKING! You can lay in logging roads, flatten building plots, work logging (if you have the skidder winch instead of the ground breaker), and that cab...MAN! COLD AIR in the summer, HEAT in the winter!!! Just doesn't get better than this (and will outlast a current D7 10-to-1!)
Looks good all painted up. I had a hell of a time finding this video tho I wish you would put them together I watched the one when you guys finished putting radiator back together and was gonna get it painted then I had to search all over to find it to see how it came out. Come on bro help us out here. Nice to see em in a series start to finish
That is clean as fuck no much use like the way they kept the cat🐯 stickers amazing genuine army gear immaculate condition😨😨respect to the army engineering corp and the brave men and women who are serving in the army🇺🇸🇺🇸🇬🇧🇬🇧to this day and beyond
Even if it did have a lot of hours the military fully rebuilds the drive train on most of the equipment that lands at the auctions. I would say that’s how military contractors make most of the gravy which isn’t only good for them but also it benefits civilians who buy this stuff for cheap.
with that nice enclosed cab... it should be ready to go right to the firefighting lines.. i am taking that's NOT an armored cab that would make it even more forest fire tractor material. protection for the operator from trees and other debris coming thru the cab sides.
@Carl Ferrigno but if you see the armored cabs.. the fire service currently uses .. sourced i think from Israel they do have windows.. just crazy thick laminated windows.
@@C_CEQUIPMENT Do you deal with the DRMO directly? I was told by a Lt. Col. they were no longer auctioning equipment , but subbing the sales out to i guess Gov. planet or who knows. Were you military?
It could be Seabee's. I know that they cleaned out both CA and RI. There were hundreds of Cat's, excavators, trucks and other equipment like this waiting for something to happen--war or a disaster. The sad thing is when ever we have a major disaster I would call the Seabees first instead of the National Guard. Yeah I know about the law governing the use of regular military, but Seabees have the equipment and the expertise to repair build anything. I was never a Seabee, I was regular Navy attached to a Seabee unit and when we did amphibian landings we would "bury" two D7's in the sand the serve as anchors for the barge ferry. Of course those Cats had winches on them instead of rippers.
@@freedomring4813 That's cool I had a friend who was in the Seabees in the late '60s. He did several tours in 'Nam. I was lucky the Navy sent me to a ship. We went to Desert Storm together in a MIUW Unit. I had just joined the unit a few months before and we ended up as roommates in Bahrain. I ended up with 17 combined years--regular active duty, the rest in the reserve. Thank you for your service. EN1
