That’s when Noel decided to leave the band and join his band Fat Mattress full time. In addition, Jimi had promised Billy Cox that he would send for him years before. That was the perfect time to call his old Army buddy to join the band as Noel’s replacement. Have a nice day and Happy New Year Richard!
