- Today I review the 2024 Infiniti QX50 Autograph and discuss why it is still a good value luxury crossover when compared to the BMW X3 and Mercedes GLC. I discuss the exterior, interior, powertrain, cool and interesting features, all the options and packages, and then I take it for a POV drive and discuss performance and handling. Would you take this over a Mercedes, BMW, or Lexus?

Getting my 2024 QX50S next week, enjoyed my 2019 so much, I traded it for a 2024.

I love that they made the 4 cylinder turbo almost as powerful as the q50s 3.0 twin turbo. Just bought one today

I dunno if I would have bought it if I knew about the tranny. Please tell me Infiniti’s is better then Subarus cvt transmission

I traded a 2019 Maxima Platinum select (which had more features and a better center console (imo)) but Infiniti had massively discounted the QX50S stickered at 52K down to 44.5K putting me in a 36 mo lease in the mid 400s. I really wasn't looking to make the trade but when they offered that price I just couldn't refuse. I'm sure my only missed feature will be the auto sensing wipers (tried to get them added but you have to bump up to a sensory).
I have not had any issues with the cabin and quiet ride, but I came from a maxima so the QX50S is amazingly quiet and smooth to me. After driving the Genesis GV70 and Acura RDX, Infiniti was able to get me in a luxury SUV for over $300 less a month (for similar equipped features). So kudos to the dated technology which was probably where the unadvertised discounts came from....
I actually liked the QX50S drive better than both the Acura (felt slower and bigger) and Genesis (felt bigger and boxy but a little quicker). I didn't get to test drive the BMW X1/X3 because they had nothing in stock with the premium feature packages within 100 miles (also getting pricing) they too were going to be $300 or more higher for similar equipped vehicle.
I'm still not sure on the CVT, but if you play with the gas pedal when accelerating (slightly pulling back when you want a shift) you can massively reduce the noise and get a lot more power on the earlier upshift, this is even quicker than just flooring it in sport mode. I'm only at 100 miles (1st week) but really enjoying the vehicle (surprisingly more than my maxima) we'll see how it is long term.
I love the autograph interior, but price wise that would have put it equivalent to the rivals, where the sport with extra incentives (possibly going at the end of the month) was so much lower (priced similar to non luxury brands). Anyway good review and I like this vehicle a lot so far.

I have a 2019 Sensory with 111k car has been flawless. If they switch to a 9 Speed Automatic I am in. Way more reliable than my previous MB
Infiniti's are great what they need to do is come out with some manufacture incentives to help with the high interest rates. But I guess if people are buying cars there is no reason to offer discounts
