I realized after this that my Google feed was pumping me up for next week. Oklahoma is on a bye. Fortunately it's playoff baseball because the college slate was lackluster.
Shana tova Nate It strikes me that in Hebrew Gan Eden does not connote walls nor a need for safety- which the Greek by way of Persian imposes on it. This is not meant to rehash our differences re:enochian vs non-enochian, just to note how this translation biases the framing (as we both know the only threat is not from without, but within via the snake and mankind himself) Either way Sophia can dance and play but I think it does lend a very different flavor- one which isn't afraid of the world beyond the Garden
It's not just good, it's great. Very solid game, and heavy, which is why I left my copy at Nate's house back then rather than bringing it back and forth each week. We were meeting up and playing it once a week before something happened in 2020 and it wasn't feasible to meet up regularly for some reason. I've gone through the campaign solo in Tabletop Simulator since and played through the video game version on Steam with another group of people online as well. I picked up Frosthaven as well when it got kickstarted during the great stay-at-home times, but haven't yet gotten together a group to meet up and play through it.

Is Gloomhaven good?
I think it's fun. Haven't played it in a long time.
