Haha, when we got there it looked horrible. We started setting up and only after 30min the client arrived and showed us the new extension upstairs where we then filmed 😅
The way you’ve been doing it is the standard practice - thought perhaps you wouldn’t always match it ‘perfectly’, as you still do want warm lamps to look like warm lamps. Of course, experimenting with different methods is always fun, too. But don’t assume your way has been wrong based on this video. Damien made a creative choice for this, but it shouldn’t be taken as the “right” way.
As always, I enjoy your video posts. I liked your use of the window pattern, and find it an excellent way to add to an otherwise plain background. It looked excellent. My producer still raves about when I do this. Lol😅
An ad about a doctor's office and then a warm glow, an odd choice. The mixed light directly on the interviewee doesn't help with the skin tones either - your skin tones look much better in the video. The background is muddy as far as coloring goes, honestly Damian, I don't understand the choice of lighting in this example, but "Kunde ist König" ;)
Ja, das ist so ein Aufbau, wenn der Kunde 10.000 € fürn Drehtag zahlt. :-) Und trotzdem sieht die Frau im weißen Arztkittel doch total weiß und überbelichtet aus.
Beautiful. Dentist’s offices in America are plain white cubes with fluorescent overhead lights, this space was gorgeous.

Great work ! Where is the entire interview ?
Thx for having me on set and glad some usable btc made it into the Edit😊😅

Great video! I love the final result.
One more subscriber!!! Great asset video.
Hey man, when is RED Komodo X Cinema Rig coming?
Really good stuff. 🙌🏼👏🏼
Thanks for sharing the behind the scenes it gives me ideas❤
Great! Thanks for the comment
Wow, I was doing all wrong. I usually match the camera temperature and my key light to the temperature of the tungsten light ambience. Happy to learn.

Good one
Awesome video Damien! Thank you! Can you do a video on a topic of how to approach setting prices for your services?
I think I have an old one already up from years ago but I sure can make an updated version.
Well done👍
Sieht richtig klasse aus! Hast du mit ND Filter gedreht? Weil du mit ISO 800 und offener Blende gedreht hast.
Ja. Meike ND Adapter
Amazing video once again!! I got the c70 but thus is making me jelouse haha
Hey Damien, love your videos! Did you shoot your talking head portion with Komodo or still C70 here? And which lens! 🙌 Looks fantastic.
Neither 😂
That’s the R5C
Sigma 35 1.4
@@damiencooper Oh wow! Which lens? I’m impressed…
@@thejohnnybrooks I’m not tbh. Look at the upper left portion. You can see it has far less dynamic range than the C70
@@damiencooperI see what you mean, clarity and colours look great but definitely clipping some highlights!
We just need a full frame C70!
Cool video! Why did you use the OG Komodo vs the Komodo X?
KX wasn’t delivered yet. 😅
Thx! Do you think the image quality of the KX is significantly better than the OG?@@damiencooper
@@mrivkinr in a situation like this? 100% no. And in most others it’s probably not significant either
Thanks for the info!
