For the dough
X 300g flour
X 7g active dry yeast
X 200ml water
X 30 ml olive oil
X pinch of salt
For the topping
X soft blue cheese
X figs
X dates
X walnuts
X fresh rosemary
Bake for about 20 - 30 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius
Abuleas' Gazpacho
X half a red paprika
X 1 curcumber
X 7 tomatoes
X some old bread
X 4 cloves of garlic
X salt and pepper to taste
X 1/4 cup of olive oil
X 1-2 cups of water

Another lovely video, your sense of humour always makes my day. Make your courgettes/zucchini into noodles, amazing with a simple garlic, sour cream, parsley and chive sauce or bake into American muffins like a carrot cake but swap out the carrots for the zucchini, they go really well with pistachio nuts and a simple lemon icing. They are so moreish I promise you'll be asking your neighbours when their next harvest is.
I loooov 'zoodles'! Usually I eat them with a pesto made from spinach, basil, avocado and nuts but your suggestions sound deliciosa! Will give that a try the next time 🤤

Can I just say… so I’m adopted and not much info on my heritage besides my father was from Spain…I have always kinda felt left out in folk magic bc I feel so disconnected from my roots. Wonderful summery witchy vibes! I love foraging around my town, and I'm always looking out for what's ripening on the roadsides here in Indiana. My favorite way to use up lots of zucchini is to make pickles! Seed and slice 2 big zucchini, 1 onion, 1 red bell pepper. Toss with 1.5 Tbsp salt and let stand 3 hours then drain and pack into pint size canning jars. Boil 2 c vinegar, 2 c sugar, 1 tsp mustard seed, 1/2 tsp turmeric, and 1/4 tsp whole cloves and pour over the veggies in jars. Can in a hot water bath for 10 minutes. Allow to age at least 7 days before eating (which is always the hardest part!)
The thermometer read, "Satan's Balls."

I always grate my zucchini and freeze it in 2 cup portions. Then I use them in zucchini bread or chocolate zucchini cake throughout the year. You hardly know it's in there and it makes your bread and cake so moist!
Maybe I should do that 🤔 I never really freeze vegetables (only in cooked or baked form) - but I might start that!

Yes always leave some for the birds, my general rule of thumb, if it’s hard for me to reach if probably wasn’t meant for me! Bottom for the bugs, middle for the humans, top for the birds ! (I’ve only applied this to blackberries and wine berries though XD)

I'm one of those neighbours giving veggies from my garden to all my neighbours. Lol Not courgettes, mostly potatoes, cabage and lettuce. But I think this helps build a good relationship with the people living around us. 😀

@@Thewitchescookery I involved both my son's in the kitchen. There own drawer of pots, pans & wooden spoons to play with as toddlers & prep work when they were older. The eldest grew up to be extremely knowledgeable about nutrition & the youngest can make the best Mac n cheese I've ever tasted. Bonus points for it being gluten free as his lady has Celiacs. Proud of my menfolk, I am.

Always an enjoyable visit with Bex. You mentioned zucchini recipes... I don't have the family recipes on me where I'm at, but we grew up eating shredded zucchini cookies, muffins and cakes. You swap out some of the moisture and fat ingredients with the shredded zucchini - makes for a tender and slightly lower calorie indulgence. I hated zucchini growing up because I always felt like it was either too cooked or not cooked enough, but I loved my grandmother's zucchini cookies and cakes (shocking) :)
Thanks so much for the input!! I love chocolate zucchini cake - sooooo moist! But I shall definitely try and use it in other recipes too. Personally I always loved it due to my mum's 'zucchini burgers', which are just zucchini with a slice of cheese in between, fried in a lot of oil 😅

I thought I was the only Witch to hunt down foraging spots in a city and have success. Where I live I have only found Mulberries , and various nuts , and occasionally if I get adventurous enough to climb the local "mountain" (more like a hill on steroids...lol) I do find herbs , and mushrooms that are edible

We have two trees and it's a super abundant harvest. My mum does some coques every later summer. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ And yes, fertility is top with figgs 😏 my dad always jokes with it while having shots of Greek figg liquor 😂😂😂 this vlog made me so happy 😀
Recommendation: Look for jinjoles /xínxols. Small fruit which is similar to apples but much smaller and is wild and thorned.

I just had a pretty horrible experience - I joined a pagan discord hoping to meet new lovely people, share interests and learn. I introduced myself as a secular pagan/green witch and was immediately interrogated over it and made to feel so unwelcome. I was told how secular pagans aren't real or valid, how being atheist was 'invading' their space and was just... made to feel shit all round by a group of genuinely unpleasant people.
I'm genuinely so glad that this side of the community exists and there are so many wonderful witches and pagans out there making the world brighter!
Ughhh .... People suck sometimes. So sorry you had to go through that but on the bright side, they immediately showed their ugly face, so at least you didn't waste time trying to become friends with unpleasant curmudgeons 😅 and luckily there are many open-minded, educated and lovely people too in this community that would love to interact with you ❤️

Two of my (other) favorite youtube witches are Ari the Oak Witch and Hearthwitch (one word). They both have discord communities (somewhat overlapping), with all kinds of people: pagan, atheist, and more. I have found them to be very friendly and supportive.
