I'd listen to half an hour haha 😂 Great video about Si! I find that Si users like ISFJs or even INFPs can be great at knowing what the future will hold and understanding people, things which are usually associated with Ni and Fe respectively. I have my own library like you said of oh this is how Emma looks like when she's excited, or this is what Allan likes to eat...i love knowing little details about people, their "essence" in a way, just like how a bowl is like the concept of a bowl. It is great to be around ISFJs that you're close to, because they can anticipate the things you like and create a cozy experience around it. 😊 Si likes to refer to other things in order to make sense of things. I think for Ni users things are more like they have a mental framework but everything they experience its like the first time. Si is a bit like a shortcut, you don't need to reinvent the wheel every time you do something 😅
IMO 30 minutes of Dulles in one dose is too much...! A bit at a time, a drip IV of Dulles... and yes, I really like ISFJs very much. There a sort of comfort and wholesomeness that's absolutely charming. I don't know why they put up with INFPs sometimes, but I am grateful that they do. Ne is up and Se/Ni is coming next... but if there's just one thing to observe about Se/Ni (at least my take on it), it's that it is not wordy. Si/Ne likes language. If some words are good, more words are better. Se/Ni uses just the words it needs, then it's done. I think you've had Brockly Todd comment on your videos (I believe he is an INFJ). He's a good example. He'll leave one sentence. It'll be exactly the right sentence with exactly the right words. Not all Se/Ni users are that compact, but they tend to lean that way. xNFJs and ESxPs can get chatty, but it's not wordy chatty for the fun of it. It's like, specific things to get to a specific goal. Anyway, nice to see you Ingrid and thanks for commenting! 🙂
Thank you for the explanation about Si in ISFJ. And your comprehension about Si gives some add on value to what I learned from J.E. Sandoval. Yes, I agree that Si users also using their here and now as a frame reference in planning their 'prepping' actions for the future. When the future arrives, they use the future ( that turns into here and now) to compare with the past, to see if the action plan they take is effective to solve the issues they tackled on.
Thank you, and I'm glad this makes sense to you! I had to talk about Si first because I see it as the gateway to understand Ne. Having Si over Ne seems like it's an optimal cognitive configuration. There's a lot of creativity and mastery that is possible with Si, which is already abstract and meaningful. Every once in a while, add a spark of Ne to bridge gaps and connect things. Having Ne over Si -- that's a head that's stuffed with straw. Its practical use seems pretty limited.
