I’m so glad you said to make anywhere you live ‘home.’ Some people move into an apartment and won’t even put up a curtain, because it’s a ‘temporary’ home. What I do is buy things that will go in any home I live in. Your apartment looks so homey and comfortable.
Brandy I hope you never change, I remember when you used to do your nails in your vlogs we go back a long time since the lockdown I left a little while and when I noticed you were doing vlogs often on a regular basis I came back especially when you go to home goods. Hope you expand to other curated stores you don’t always have to shop. Also I miss you going to that very first antique place you went to where Jenna Pierce bought her first antique piece you showed I loved that place. Anyway the best to you ❤

You can hang curtains over the blinds. I did that when we lived in an apartment. Get a rod that sticks out from the wall to allow for the depth of the blinds, push the blinds all the way back. It made all the difference!
I did the same. 95" pleated faux linen curtains on an extended rod and can't even so those ugly verticals!

I lived in Southwest Washington State from 1978 when I was 10, till 2018. By then all of my family left the state so I decided to go to. I moved very very close to family in San Diego County Southern California. By the time I left, I was so ready to get out of the rain and cold. I LOVE it down here. It’s been wonderful these last 6 years.

It has Brandy's touch which I love and admire. What draws me to a home like yours is the cozy vibe, that feels like a home, that's inviting, has personality and not a home that looks like a staged showroom. It looks gorgeous. I loved that each area had a meaningful story: the coffee bar where you and Zach use it more in that spot, the sketched photo by your desk that reminds you of your Aunt, your desk your favorite piece where all of your creative magic happens plus the chair that Zach uses right next to it, the coffee table you bkth built, your bedroom and how happy you are with it including the dresser. You would always hide that side on camera which means it was your eye sore in your room. Now it is styled to your liking. TYFS what your home means to you and what a home can feel and become if we put some love and intention to it big or small 🖤🤍😊👌🏽

All the adjectives you want your house to one day be. 😊 I live in an apartment, and have lived in it very “temporarily “. To be fair to myself, I moved in during a very rough time and have only one income. I didn’t want or have the means to invest much in my space knowing it wouldn’t be my “forever” space. I knew I would find love again, and I did! We have been looking for a house (very challenging), and I get inspired by you every video for when that day comes!

Brandy - you have so many amazing pieces and items - very beautiful. I seriously want your desk/table. One idea that might work to keep the door closed on the coffee bar table would be a magnet set?? I have used this fix on a couple antique pieces and it worked well. Awesome tour!

The knats in the plant are from the soil. If you recently repotted it they were in the soil. Miracle Grow is notorious for it.
Miracle gro is horrific. Years ago i ended up with about 300 gnats inside my apartment. I found it was from miracle gro. Never used it again

I’m from Pacific Northwest too! Well I’m from Seattle not Oregon and I live in Az as well. Only thing I truly miss about home is the Seasons and I miss all the surrounding water.
I love how you took a modern apartment and used your classic rustic pieces of furniture beautifully . Most people would just run to Rooms To Go or IKEA for everything.

Don’t know what part of Arizona you are in but Scottsdale has so many brand new apartments. The San Bellagio San Artes and San Milan are nice. Those aren’t brand new but very spacious. So many new places. I can’t stand Arizona too hot lol. Can’t wait to get back to the beach.

I would suggest you not drill a hole in your bar cabinet but use a light bulb that is USB rechargeable or 3 AA battery operated. I have an entryway that does not have an electrical outlet and found these light bulbs fit in any lamp and are fantastic.

I have vertical blinds too. But we’ve been here for four years. And unfortunately they are still in great shape. So I’m not replacing them yet. At our last house they kept falling off. Not one of these have. I love your apartment, and your style. I will probably steal some of them if the price is right. You have a bigger budget than me. I watch when you share your Amazon cart. And some of the prices, freak me out. It’s all nice stuff. But some is pricey.
