You can hang curtains over the blinds. I did that when we lived in an apartment. Get a rod that sticks out from the wall to allow for the depth of the blinds, push the blinds all the way back. It made all the difference!

For some reason I find the coffee table while utilitarian doesn't help with the "look" of the room It looks a bit too cluttered with furniture. Maybe keep the same size but more streamlined sectional perhaps a linen and light colored. I don't see a clear look so despite it beign styled it doesn't look all that complemenary. Needs to clarify what look she is going for and go for it.

Don’t know what part of Arizona you are in but Scottsdale has so many brand new apartments. The San Bellagio San Artes and San Milan are nice. Those aren’t brand new but very spacious. So many new places. I can’t stand Arizona too hot lol. Can’t wait to get back to the beach.

I loved that each area had a meaningful story: the coffee bar where you and Zach use it more in that spot, the sketched photo by your desk that reminds you of your Aunt, your desk your favorite piece where all of your creative magic happens plus the chair that Zach uses right next to it, the coffee table you bkth built, your bedroom and how happy you are with it including the dresser. You would always hide that side on camera which means it was your eye sore in your room. Now it is styled to your liking. TYFS what your home means to you and what a home can feel and become if we put some love and intention to it big or small 🖤🤍😊👌🏽

I have vertical blinds too. But we’ve been here for four years. And unfortunately they are still in great shape. So I’m not replacing them yet. At our last house they kept falling off. PNW gal here 👋 love your design! I used to have that drink table and loved the look and especially the feet but unfortunately, it’s too unstable for my home with three cats. One kitty was nearly smooshed when the table got knocked over. The iron is dangerously heavy.

Hi Brandy. I can see that huge mirror over behind the lamp in the corner area where the wall sconce is but you have to find another spot for wall sconce. Maybe put sconce where big mirror is by the door. You like? 😊 Beautiful mirror needs to shine you know. Love it
I would suggest you not drill a hole in your bar cabinet but use a light bulb that is USB rechargeable or 3 AA battery operated. I have an entryway that does not have an electrical outlet and found these light bulbs fit in any lamp and are fantastic.

I did the same. 95" pleated faux linen curtains on an extended rod and can't even so those ugly verticals!

The knats in the plant are from the soil. If you recently repotted it they were in the soil. Miracle Grow is notorious for it.
Miracle gro is horrific. Years ago i ended up with about 300 gnats inside my apartment. I found it was from miracle gro. Never used it again
