I enjoy these so much. Don't be afraid to show some uphills and navigation around those rocks. I take it this was a 2-way trail, and you went UP that entire thing? Crazy. Bet it took an hour or two.
Yep, out & back is the best way to ride it, there isn't really a climbing trail. With two vehicles you could shuttle and take the Stack Rock trail to the top of Sweet Connie. But I actually like to earn my turns!
Funny coincidence. My brother just started running marathons and he's been talking about compression boots which I never heard of. Gonna forward the video to him when you review them! Watch out for them bushes! 😆
Here's a link to my Strava for this activity: www.strava.com/activities/11287684455. Big parking area right on Bogus Basin Rd at the bottom of the trail. You can't miss it! Just did an out & back, because there really isn't a better climbing route.
Getting sick of the laces, Go BOA. I thought it was just a gimmick at 1st. But now I love them and will not get riding shoes without them. Also they have a lifetime warranty. I am glad your getting a lot of use out of your Five Tens cause I didn't. I had the Hellcat and then the Kestrel. I switched over to the Crank brothers shoe and they last so much longer. As for looking where you don't want to go yeah been there got the tree, fractured collarbone and nerve damage. Target fixation is no joke, always look where you want to go.
I have enjoyed your runs on the DFW area and I am enjoying these ones now. Good deal. Keep it up! 🤙
Right on! Glad you're still around!
this trail looks like so much fun !
Yes sir, nice and fast!
Great video. You were ripping that down having fun😎
Always trying to go faster, haha!

Yeah, so far... I can't really tell if there's any difference.
Sweet Connie looks like a sweet trail!
One of my favorites that I've ridden in Boise!
Great vid! I'm going to be visiting Boise in June and hitting this trail. Do you have a Trailforks of the route you took? Also, where did you park?

@@huntstyle Hell yes, thank you!
That trail looks like it could be on the Colorado Front Range ... except with like 90% of the rocks removed (front range trails be chunky).
I always feel like I'm in Scotland when it turns to all grass, haha
Ha! Found the one bush in an open field lol
Go figure, lol
Boiler up!
YESSSS!!!
Dusty shoelaces are a sensory ick for me.
I’m interested in a compression boot review.
Yeah, I'm not a fan, either, haha! Kinda hard to avoid around here. As for the compression boots, I'm not really sure they're making any difference.
💕Wow💛💛💛💜💜💛💜💜💜

I thought about getting the Crank Brothers BOA flats, but in reviews I read a lot of people said they didn't have near the grip of the Five Ten's.
Yeah I hear you there. When I was on flats I only had the five tens so I don't know how the CB are.
