Happened to me a few years ago... was going to loop Dry Creek via Hard Guy. Got to top of Hard Guy and it started snowing - turned around and bombed down Hard Guy and I've never been so cold on a bike ever (and it was mid-late September).
It seems weather is harder to predict in the mountains, but I've also found it varies quite a bit in short distances apart. Just yesterday morning my app said it'd be 51 in Ketchum, but when I arrived at the trailhead my car said 40! I do think it's colder in that spot, due to the river.
@@huntstyle Right on, for some reason I thought you lived closer to Boise... you should also ride Eastside down from Bogus sometime if you've never ridden that one!
great video,as always. 3 things: 1. You wouldn't believe how envious I am of this trail that you find a little boring. sadly We don't have anything that flowy around here. 2. Is the capon the stirring tube a "stolen goat''? looks similar. is it something else? 3. You asked in another video wether there is still an interest in POV. As far as I'm concerned, it's a resounding yes.
Yeah, I've become a trail snob, lol. I prefer trails with an uninterrupted downhill, steep enough that I don't need to pedal to get some good speed, but not so steep I need to ride the brakes. The logo is one I purchased to have the right to use. I got it on Envato. I don't recall whether it was exclusive rights or not.

Nice, you made the most of it. Still looked a good time!
A bit chilly, but glad I stayed and completed the full trail!
Best descent in Boise, I'm surprised you've never ridden this one! It's slightly more fun without hail! 😂
I haven't actually ridden in Boise a whole lot. Only go in the spring before Hailey/Ketchum starts drying out!

Looks super cold compared to what you get here in DFW. Take care bro 🤙
You could get this for a day or two in January in DFW... every other year. LOL!
What da hail! Lol 😂 Still looked like a beautiful trail though.
That it is!

@@huntstyle just noticed the difference between the two logos. My mistake.
