  • Today I am making crispy battered fish without using beer. This recipe makes a light, crispy fish batter that stays crispy. When it comes to fish, this fry batter the best result for extra light and ultra crispy coating that stays crispy well beyond the time it takes to serve and eat!

Will the coating attach to the fish with this method ? Notice when I do it, all the coating falls apart in the pan just before frying the fish. 😥

Thank you for this recipe!!! Just tried this tonight for Spanish Mackerel! I added a little extra flour for the batter to coat nicely. I was pleasantly surprised at how the batter remained crispy after frying! 🥹 this is definitely going to be my go to for batter recipes!!! ❤️
